And it doesn't root despite the errors - SU is not installed.
I've tried every method I know, the old Pete's Motorola Root Tools, Razr's Edge, and HoB. What am I missing? I just want to be able to use TB to restore my apps!
Thanks in advance - I've searched until I'm blue in the face....

lol that's all I was wondering so it's clear. Could you on me with details?Yes. Don't. I've said before, OMAP flashing isn't a good idea if your phone is working. The person testing it to see if you can bypass security (no, you can't) proved why we don't use it on a working phone....we'll leave it at that.

No. I'm not getting into the details. Just leave the OMAP files alone and call it good.

I am still running 232, should upgrade to 247 now? Or wait for the OTA version to upgrade to?
I don't know why people insist on asking questions like this. YOU have to make that determination, not US. Being on 232 you have 2 options. Upgrade to 247 using the HoB. Or do a FULL FXZ back (WILL LOSE DATA) and take the OTA when it's out.

Well, if I upgrade from 232 to 247, will I have to re-root again?
Hummm...wonder it that might be in a FAQ someplace??

I hope this is not a dumb question.... what do you use to overclock your bionic, does it really benefit you, and last have there been any major "concerns or problems" in doing so?

Give this a shot. I didn't use the tweakerz app, just downloaded the modules and init d support files and ran the scripts manually. A lot of people here have good things to say about tweakerz though.

After reading the instructions and FAQ twice over I went through the process being careful to follow directions exactly and after 30 minutes am now enjoying ICS and root for the first time with absolutely no issues!
Thank you very much for providing such an easy to use tool.

Ok I need to know what to do. Before HOB I would have just fire rsd lite up and reflash but I dont want to perma brick my phone. I used Titanium backup to move my user apps to sd card... went to fire up my mobile hotspot and would not turn on.... so I rebooted the phone. Now I am stuck with the boot loader.... phone will not start. Do I just plug back into AP mode and reinstall .247?
There's a repair bootloader option in HOB.

That is a AP fast boot repair. This is in a boot loop.
