Why do these OS's always have apps that come with them that you can't delete? There is always so much crap I wanna clear out. All the readers, the stupid games n so on... such a waste of space. oh well... guess I'm just bored... anyone wanna gripe with me?

ICS at least lets you disable them, that's a welcome change.
Heck, I'm almost bone stock now. (Rooted for TB and the few programs I have that do better when placed in system, and to flash cerberus so I can remote wipe if I lose my phone-even that can be done stock now, I think).

I forget my point.

hehe, i find it very useful, although not the prettiest looking ui. only downside is that you can't install with safestrap currently; ss3 will change that though. you can use a root file manager to copy files manually and set permissions though:

using a root explorer:
-extract zip
-copy sl4a directory (in /emmc) to /sdcard (internal)
-copy apks (in /system/app) to /system/app
-change permissions to rw-r-r:
xx
x
x
-copy files (in /system/bin) to /system/bin
-change permissions to rwxr-xr-x:
xxx
x x
x x

from this point you can continue with the instructions in the readme.

Silliest..maybe. But can you answer this: If a velociraptor left from Cleveland at 1pm, how many midgets would it take to count to cheese?

Followed onscreen instructions... rebooted and pressed the anykey... stuck at root again... do I need to put it back in usb debug? how about charge only? if so how's that done in ICS... (don't see any of that in the faq... :/

One thing. I'd caution you against downright removing things unless you're resigned to using the House of Bionic for every update that comes out in the future. Updates assert the system partition, so, if you outright delete stuff in there, well, the next update will flip you the bird (ok, so it calls it an error 7, but, it's the same damn thing :D). The House of Bionic mitigates that kind of crap by replacing the system partition just before installing the update, but, just understand it's a pain in the arse to do this every time.

MTP mode, USB debugging enabled, yes. Same way you do it in GB.

I'm stuck with doing this everytime anyways... I'm not on a network... to poor. I bought this phone with a bad esn and use it with text+ and google voice/grooveIP to talk over wifi since I'm always near wifi... at anyrate since the updates run through verizon I'm doomed to flash updates from time to time... till you sir SAM discontinue the line. lol

K... so I put it in MTP mode... now to go figure out how to do debug... cause we did that in apps/development/ last time... but I don't see that now.

"Thank you for entering the house of bionic"

Does this make me part of the family? Or am I just that annoying guest that drops in uninvited and all to often? ^_^
