Yes I cleared the dalvik cache before rebooting (I know... not necessary either) and cleared the other cache in recovery because it was the next best thing to doing a FDR before updating. I'm used to doing this from my days of loading roms on the og droid. This bionic is stock except forever rooted and some root only apps.You seriously cleared the cache first BEFORE applying the update? WHY? And did you verify the MD5 hash of the update that was copied to your sdcard by hand to make sure it didn't get corrupted during the copy? Your ADB issue sounds like ADB is running somewhere. Open task manager and kill all instances of it.

Samuri I believe this is why it's failing for him, does he not have to be stock without forever root to be able to install the update.This bionic is stock except forever rooted and some root only apps.
