Thanks. You're quite welcome. It's been fun serving the community. I think the HoB has gotten to a point where it really is as simple as it literally can be. It's become easier to support for the most part. And when you see the end result of why I've worked so hard on the framework it's built upon over the last few months and what that does for us, well, I think you'll truly be impressed. The true power of the HoB can't really be demonstrated yet. But it will be in a few weeks.

Unfortunately no one can be told what the matrix is. You have to see it for yourself :D

Hey fella's, I am coming from the droidforums.net post.... I am still on the 905 build and have been dealing with dropped data. Serious pain since I use it for my home internet as well. ie xbox live :) Anyways I read the first couple pages of this forum and the one on droidforums and I want to make sure this one will fix the dropped data issues correct? Btw I like the lay out of this site better. Much easier on the eyes.

p.s. I should start checking more for updates since it looks like there have been several. lol

Other than this prob, I do like norton...but not sure how to turn it off for this instance (only see an option to uninstall...don't wanna do that :P )

It is simple to turn off. Look in the bottom right corner of your screen and find the Norton icon. Right click it and click "Disable Antivirus Auto-Protect". It will ask you for how long. Select a length of time that matches up with how long you think it will take for your Windows PC to install the HOB stuff you are trying to install (e.g. 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours). Install the HOB stuff IMMEDIATELY. Once installed, Norton should ignore HOB.

In this last year's update of Norton they have added a "reputation" "virus find", which will flag files THEY have not seen through Norton enough to say they are probably good files. There is no option to "undelete" Norton's "protection" (i.e. removal) of the "infected" file. I don't know how many downloads they need to see to accept the file, but it is probably more than a couple hundred.

If you have Comcast, you get Norton free. Personally, I have 5 PCs at home for the family and free beats the heck out of not free.

I quit using Norton all together ever since they detected my cable modem as a hack attempt on my computer and totally shut me offline and I had to disable Norton to get online. I personally use Kaspersky on my work computer, and AVG 2013 Free combined with Malware Bytes Anti-Malware Pro on my personal computer.

There was a time when Norton was good...that was about 10 years ago. I only use AVG free . The only time I have to fire up Malware Bytes is when a friend or co-worker get all clicky-happy and end up with some stupid crap that screws up their pooter. I've been real lucky over the years with viruses,etc......maybe it's because I don't randomly click on links and say yes,I want Sooper dooper file filler inner hotbar toolbar add-on for the pc checkup toolbar with a side of gravy installed.

Wasn't there a fix for the AP Fastboot Failure when using HoB? There is a guy there, DF, who has this issue, and I can't remember if this issue was fixed or not.

Yes there is, and hopefully for them, they took your suggestion and came over here to fix it :)

Yes, it's in the FAQ under "I'm a moron and fzx'd .905 on a .235+ phone"

The full answer to fix then reinstall is there.

P.S. Mountain redirected him to here so once he gets signed in he should be here, I guess.

Depending on what version they're on, they pick that version on the main menu, then use the Repair AP Fastboot ERROR. I don't know wtf I can do to make it more obvious that if you're stuck in AP Fastboot that perhaps you should maybe use that option to fix it. I mean, gee..."my phone appears to be getting some kind of....error....in AP Fastboot. I wonder how I'd go about fixing that? I doubt this 'Repair AP Fastboot ERROR' option is the way to go, though."

People panic, too.

Seems that if everything was read you'd remember that there is a fix for that, though.

I guess sometimes people don't read complete FAQ on their 2nd use of HoB (everything went so well the first time) and so have forgotten.

I started out an apologist but, dang, read the FAQ!

I have tried the fix but I don't think it is pushing the fix to the phone.

Ummm, HUH? What exactly have you "tried" and what error did it give you when you tried it? I REALLY REALLY REALLY get frustrated trying to help people that say "tried it, didn't work" and give NO information to go along with it.
