Sorry I meant the 247 file. Can't help you with the installer I made the jump before everything moved over from DF.

I've stopped responding for a reason. I'm really not in the mood. Either you can figure out how to install it (you really think I wouldn't include the update? REALLY?) or you can't. It tells you in the OP exactly how to install it. And if your security software gives you a false positive on the download, that is not my problem to fix.

I spent an *ENORMOUS* amount of time...4 months so far...to make this as idiot proof as possible. Every time I improved something, they sent me better and better idiots. All you have to do is follow what it tells you to do in the OP. Think about it....if I was missing something you'd see thousands of posts of "why is this missing?" I tell people to read and follow the OP to save me from having to hand hold the 1200+ (yes you read that correctly) users of the House of Bionic. When you install it and run it, you'll understand my frustration. It literally can NOT be any easier.

(I wasn't suggesting you're an idiot...that's not what I meant by that comment...I've dealt with far too much in the past 4 months to want to explain right now...I wasn't insulting you)

I understand, it is what it is...

I figured the update was in the support, but like I said, just wanted to make sure. Doesn't seem to matter atm...norton does NOT want to allow me to DL the 8.1 installer

Yea, good thing it doesn't have <HS> in it. High Security sucks. Oh, right. Uhhh, at least you have a bionic? Um, hmm, well, ICS is coming soon? Yea, I'm out. :D

Really like to rub it in! Hah:-) Well I like my smartarse Bionic on 247! What are you going to do after the OTA? Will Hob work for JB? Or are all of the Bionics going to burn out from oc'g? :-)

That's because norton sucks. It's flagging adb inside the download as some kind of trojan when it's not. It's one of several pieces of crap AV solutions that throw a false positive on adb. Your solution is to either make an exception for it, turn it off, or wait for Norton to fix it (um, glwt). I can assure you my files are not infected. I use a much better AV solution that Norton. No offense if you happen to like it.

ROFLMAO! We're all in the same boat. None of us have a "useful" bionic except Sarge. We all have 4430 locked bootloader bionics.

Other than this prob, I do like norton...but not sure how to turn it off for this instance (only see an option to uninstall...don't wanna do that :P )

Sam, it's really nice seeing you express yourself! Now that the shackles are off, lol.
had a little mishap with a new rom I was testing and loaded up 8.1 worked great! not only was able to fix 247, but I also was able to tell what a lousy mass produced CPU that my Bionic had :-) Op what OP? why should anybody bother to read your Oh pee. Just load up any component you want, skip a few steps and call Sam in the morning! :-) The only problem is that you made it too hard to skip steps or for us to vicariously have some fun, L.M.F.A.O. no fun, I'm out :-)

Now, in all seriousness Samuri, all of us Bionic users owe you a tremendous debt of gratitude! You made our Bionics fun again and allowed us to come back repeatedly from the brink of disaster. You rock!!! :P Thank You!!!

Thanks. :) You're quite welcome. It's been fun serving the community. I think the HoB has gotten to a point where it really is as simple as it literally can be. It's become easier to support for the most part. And when you see the end result of why I've worked so hard on the framework it's built upon over the last few months and what that does for us, well, I think you'll truly be impressed. The true power of the HoB can't really be demonstrated yet. But it will be in a few weeks. ;)
