DroidBionic [Running ICS thanks to HoB, now running Jelly Bean]

Long time lurker "over there"...
Not going to comment on the move, as it's obvious from his posts Sam wishes not to dwell on it and simply move on. I, of course, have my opinions, but will keep them to myself...
I watched most of Sam's "36hr brick" scenario unfold in real time, on the edge of my seat. I came back much, much later, interested in what was happening with ICS for the Bionic. I then followed the hidden thread until it was hidden, then the "moot" thread (yes, ALL of it!).
Even though I am still running stock .905 because I know I don't know the details of how to mod my phone well enough to feel comfortable using HoB and I don't want to be "one of those" for Sam to support (and likely get lambasted for being uninformed), I still would like to extend my gratitude to SamuriHL for all he has done for the community. I'd also like to thank sargentmajord for all the information he has been able to provide to those of us starving for any word on what may be happening. While I never did sign up on DF and just lurked there, with these new developments, I thought it would be worthwhile to sign up here so I could not only continue to follow over here, but also maybe even participate. I also wanted to make it known that these two gentlemen are more of an asset to the community than they will likely ever know...
I'd also like to thank the other posters in "moot" for hours of entertainment, excluding, of course, those who were obviously unappreciative (you know who you are...)
Cheers & THANKS,
- JPB

Thank you. My recommendation to you is to grab the HoB files, install them, with the phone UNPLUGGED, run it. Take a dry run through it. Say N to all the prompts (because the phone is unplugged and you're just testing to see what the process looks like). This will give you a good idea of what you're in for. See what you think. And as long as you've read the FAQ and the OP, I won't give you a hard time. I generally only get pissed when someone makes wrong assumptions that they KNOW what they're doing or people who blatantly haven't read the FAQ. (Do I have to FXZ before... How do I root... What's this HoB thing... etc). If you say "look, I know I'm not very knowledgeable about these things and I genuinely need a hand"....we won't have a problem at all and you'll find I'm very willing to help.

Believe you me Sam is more than wiling to help. I am one of "those" that did read it all and was still a half brained idiot fumbling and bumbling through it and he still helped me! and yes he did "yell at me" .......just a bit

We are blessed to have youLOL. I have no interest in fame. All I've ever tried to do with the HoB was to give back to a community that I felt has helped me and given me so much. I'm glad so many people find it to be so useful. I sincerely mean that. I feel blessed.
