As I say in the OP and the FAQ, it depends on your appetite for risk. 247 is increasingly likely to be the OTA build in a couple weeks now that the stupid Atrix 2 OTA is finally shipping. However, it's not guaranteed. Nonetheless the HoB is battle tested with these secure builds having gone through 235, 238, 242, 244, 246, and now 247 with no problems. 247 obviously is going to be a better build than 232 given that it's 2 months newer and they've put a lot of effort into fixing things. You won't find a "change list" detailing every specific change so don't ask for one. But, once you go 247, you won't get back to 905. So, think long and hard about whether you want to jump down this road. Especially with the OTA build, whatever it ends up being, coming in a couple weeks unless something stupid delays it further.

So that's about the last straw over at df. They are now censoring (I. E. Deleting my posts) me when I reference the mod posts as the reason for my limited involvement in the threads. I'm seriously thinking about removing my posts over there for the HoB and calling it good. I really need to think long and hard on this one.

Yea I stopped posting except for support for the most part. When people asked why I've not been posting I answered truthfully. I wasn't scathing in my response. I simply referenced what the mod himself said. And now my posts get deleted. So enough of that. People are going to have to make their way here if they want support.

Too bad for droidforums, there loss imo!
So I actually have a odd issue Sam, Appears that when I go into recovery and try to flash something I get an error that I can not mount /sdcard
Just stock recovery. this is odd as I can boot the phone normally. Very weird, wonder if recovery got borked at some point. Any pointers? should I just reHoB the thing and go from there?

Thanks again in advance
Much appreciated

That is odd. I'm not sure what could be causing that. You can try flashing the recovery img in the 247 folder and see if that makes any difference.

And yes, I just closed the thread over on DF. This is now the primary and only thread for the House of Bionic moving forward.

Thought it was just a low battery issue as I was trying at about 50% battery life, charged it over night and same thing this morning, I'll give that a try and let you know how I make out.

Thanks

Thanks for the support. Yea, I'm not pleased about all the drama, either. It is what it is and I've decided to move forward. HoB is still alive and kicking and has a great home here. :)

Well, found the thread, SamuriHL, it is bogus what happened, hope things here go a lot better for you, you have been a great help in the Bionic community, and without you I would still be on the old 905 update, but with HoB I am on the 247 update.

I've just had enough of the drama. When they start deleting my posts because I referenced their thinly veiled threat, well, that's enough. I'm a mod in the bionic section here, so, everyone better behave. ;)

Hey Sam, sorry to hear about you're having to move your thread, but it is what it is. You were easy enough to find, so no harm there.

I was quite nonplussed by the moderators' heavy handed handling of the wild and woolly thread(s) we all loved following. I was unaware that they were deleting your posts as well and, well, that just ain't right; particularly in light of all you did for us loyal followers.

At any rate, I'm (we're) here now and will continue to support you. Thanks for all you did across the way and here's hoping the road is less bumpy in your new venue. Cheers!
