1) Make sure you exit out of the Motorola Helper app (via task manager if need be).
2) Try to make sure adb is not already running from your system (Sam's scripts usually take care of that, but sometimes they go stupid).
3) Make sure you're using the 5.9 USB Drivers.
4) Double check your USB port - make sure it is not USB 3 if possible.
If all else fails (which it seems is where you're already at) then being out the Hammer.

o) Initial HoB for Linux and Mac users
o) NEEDS LOTS OF TESTING still
o) Has all the functionality of the windows version
o) Contains ADB and fastboot
o) Having the platform SDK MIGHT interfere with it
o) READ the README before trying to use it
Report all issues you encounter. EXPECT bugs. Make sure you have other means to fix your phone if you test this. Thanks and enjoy!

I LIKE THIS (Since this place still has that Draconian 5 Like limit on me )
BTW - you include all necessary files to do this in *nix, right? fastboot, adb for *nix, etc....
If yes, I'm tempted to try this in a terminal on my tablet to do my phone
I am not sure if it would work, I have yet to figure out of my phone can connect to my tablet via the USB port on the docking station, but hey, if it can, I'll be extremely happy

I don't think that'll work but you can try. I don't include the updates or fxz but you do need both. Read the read me for more info. It's pretty sweet. The windows version is going to learn a few tricks from the design.
And yes it has adb and fastboot and the code to detect which one to use.

OMFG!! I cannot believe you just said Wyoming lmao. I was born and raised here. We are finally supposed to be getting 4gLTE in like a month from now lol. We are far behind.VZW is the root of all evil when dealing with Android phones. I'll probably be in Wyoming for my Ph. D. when it comes time to upgrade. You can bet your bottom dollar if I can find a better deal I'll be leaving VZW. Maybe sooner, if I can find a good deal once I get up there.

Tell me about it. This would be the third time someone's whined about my tone and they get all over my case about it. I'd love to see ANY of them step into my shoes for a day. Seriously, one day. That'd shut them up.
