I gotta say, it's nice to see everyone being able to SAFELY use the leaks. Makes me smile.

I found the same problem. You have to turn one or the other off. The "Bass Punch" is an option under Settings-->Sound. The equalizer is in Google Play Music and has to be turned off from the "Now Playing" screen. Select Menu-->Equalizer and then turn it off.

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. Thanks.

Thanks. I wish to hell I knew how people screw this up. I've tried REALLY hard to make it as drop dead simple as it can possibly get. Yet, I still get people FXZ'ing 905 to 246 phones. I don't know what else I can do at this point.

And as luck would have it, my gfs pantech micro usb cord happened to be a data cable! I almost crapped my pants. So we can confirm it works with a pantech cable. Lol

Linux/Mac progress update:

Menus are written and working
discover and transfer update zip is working
md5 hashing of update zip is working
install flash is working
recovery instructions are working
root is working

TODO:
boot img creation
reinstall flashing
FXZ flashing
Repair flashing

Basically at this rate I expect to have a fully function Linux/Mac HoB by this weekend that matches the windows functionality completely.

I'm getting there. Working on the boot img creation now. That's the biggest piece left. If I get that, then the rest will fall into place as doing this solves all the remaining functionality pieces I need to perform in linux. I should just have one more piece to figure out before I can try it.

Might have to use reinstall option for previous version you had to get webtop re-flashed. Then procede with the install of version you are going to. Remember he got rid of flashing of webtop partition for installs but not for re-installs. I hope this helps.

Who in the hell is idiotic enough to screw with their webtop partition? Yes, I removed it cause no one should be dumb enough to screw with something that's never being touched ever again. Use the REINSTALL option.

It's a bash script that includes generic binaries for Linux and mac adb and fastboot. I took code from the razr Linux util to detect which binaries to use. They spent a lot of time refining that code.

Just curious... If I want to install a deodex .247 can I use HoB? It's just so much easier than doing it manually.
Just having fun with Android!
