Apparently all the Moto ICS builds need to be updated for JB, yes. We weren't supposed to get this patch til later, but, apparently Moto is going to delay us a week or two again and just get it out there. It puts us in VERY good shape to get JB, though.

Hi SamuriHL

I had no issue with the HOB installer when I installed 246

I used the 7.2 installer

I updated to the 7.5 installer and installed the 247 update to my PC.

When I run the HOB installer it gives this error in the 247: FLASH RSD sequence after I select yes and enter:

Please check input file. Either XML format is wrong or image files associated with it are missing.

I hit OK, and the installer continues:

I put it in recovery

Apply update 247 from SD CARD

I get another error and it aborts the installation

I am not sure what I did to cause this.

Please advise.

Sam,
Different machine than normal..
running proper version of rsd.
new moto drivers
when in ap it displays the ADM driver object.
when i run your batch from normal phone boot it just hangs on the second " if it hangs" message..
Mind linking to where youve explained how to fix this?
If not.. ill just wait til i get to work tomorrow.. with my other workign phone flashing machine.

thanks

Well thats a relief. Might even show that moto could already have internal jb builds if they are working on a build to bridge some of that gap or set some things in place. It would also mean that 247 would be required to play with any jb leaks. If they arent locked down.

Just wanted to say thanks for this! Finally went from .2233 to .232 and it worked flawlessly. I'm a noob and still a little nervous about flashing stuff but after reading through your thread a few times and following the directions in HoB it was a breeze.

It's a minor change that only impacts the reboot to AP Fastboot step.

Well, It worked for me.

No matter what I tried last night I got errors and it wouldn't install.

I started over and used 7.6 this time, and it worked like a charm.

I am up and running on 247!

Thanks SamuriHL, you are a genius!
