I didn't have my phone connected was that my error. I'm rooted on 22 and just don't want to risk losing root like some others have by making mistakes. It happens to us all aparently

Rename them.  246_FXx when you want to use the 22 FXZ.  98.72.22_FXx when you wanna use 246_FXZ.  This isn't rocket science.

You used 9.9?  And rooted with it?  If so there's a few things to check.  

 

o) Is Voodoo installed?

o) Is Superuser installed?

o) Does Voodoo see protected su?

o) What is the output of the following commands:

 

adb shell ls -l /system/usr/

 

adb shell ls -l /system/usr/we-need-root

 

Also, don't install 22 yet.  I may have something for you to try.

Hmmmmm, RSD in HoB syas flashing, but nothings happening, no progress indicator no image count

OK Here is what I did:

 

- uninstalled safestrap recovery

- uninstalled safestrap app

- FXZ 246 HOB *but* I used keep data option

- Root HOB

 

Voodoo is installed shows all checks

superuser v3.1.3

Not sure this is particularly valid because I realized:

 

A.  I kept data and therefore kept voodoo and su

B.  I also had superSu installed and active so I am not sure if the right updated su binary was there or not.

 

Hopefully this helps someone.  I am done for tonight but may try again tomorrow and am willing to do a FDR and try it again if it helps.  (I have not installed JB or anything else yet.)
