what if i wanted to buy my next phone unsubsidized. Couldn't i take the jb ota and if it borks my phone, just go in and get a new phone early?

Why soak a build that will brick phones? What's the advantage of a customer service nightmare?

The xt912 maxx/RAZR radios blew on ICS.....JB just didn't improve them any.....antenna issue I think? Definitely not as good as bionic. I could make a list. Screen is more exposed because bezel is flatter, radios blow, battery is no better than my bionic w/stock battery +p893, etc....as soon as the ota is out and I have my launcher configed etc I'll go back to my 16 GB bionic and sell/trade this beotch until the X (or atom) is available.

Even for PST it's a bit late to be pushing. ICS and .905 and earlier pushed before 5 EST from what I can remember.

Usually it starts at 3pm EST. It hasn't, so, it's unlikely to.

Verizon's site, earlier, said it's coming for everyone starting the 15th. I saw that and assumed soak was probably not going to happen. They're just going to start pushing to all. There was also info on ICS but most of the page said Jelly Bean.

Whenever it comes I'm probably just going to take it bone stock (well HoB stock). I'm still stock on Nexus 7 and like it fine so I figure I can handle it on Bionic and maybe test some of the tricks you guys come up with or live without root til next phone. I'm itching for another phone and am buying next phone outright anyway (and probably on ATT since hspa is pretty good on nexus around here).
