I used HoB 9.5 and used FLASH MODE FASTBOOT to full flash the FXZ and erase all data buuut... it freezes at erasing userdata ... OKAY and so the computer... the phone is still at FASTBOOT. Same results, i'm going to try the same procedure without erasing data, i've attached the screenshots, the freeze point, and the phone after powering off and turn it on again... please note that add the INVALID CG with cdrom now...

If I had to make an uneducated guess, I'd say the phone has physical problems. I don't know what else to try here.....If the FXZ doesn't bring it back to life, not much will.

I'm think i'm going to try to downgrade to .902, only flashing the system, vendor, and boot images to see if in some way boots to GB, and the try to upgrade? I don't know, if the phone is really bricked or dead, i don't lose nothing, thanks anyway, i'll post my results later...

You can't downgrade. It won't work. Of course, it won't put you in a worse situation than you're in now. But it definitely won't boot.

You know, I always thinked that the locked bootloader makes the Motorola phones unbrickables (in certain way) but, this is interesting, I mean, my other computer flashed everything good and still showing the same error, in fastboot way, the rsd way, and flashes everything, but fails to boot with the system error, maybe the system partition is damaged or corrupted? I don't know, the Droid Bionic is HW A, i'm going to flash the FXZ again with RSD Lite but in the other computer and attach the Log file later.. thank you.

Sure, I'll take a look at it. It's possible the nvram is damaged.

This is the SWDL that it was on the rsd folder of the HoB, take a look if you see something wrong, because it aparenttly it flashed everything ok.

Looks perfect. So I'd say your phone is physically screwed up I'm sorry to say.

Sorry I couldn't help fix it. I could get my soldering gun. LOL :) Good luck!

It could be possible to reset the Fastboot in some way? I mean, maybe it's a stuck data error and maybe a Fastboot reset (if in theory maybe is possible, or maybe not) could help... in theory.

Not possible. You've already reflashed the bootloader so that should have cleared it. I honestly don't have any clue how to fix your phone. If an FXZ fails, that's generally a hardware problem.

I agree with Sam, it's physically broken. I'm 95%+ sure that you've taken the correct steps to fix any software issue it could be. Something in the hardware chain is physically broken. Unless you can tackle that sort of thing yourself it's probably far from economically viable to repair considering what you can buy a used working bionic for (theoretically, most are simply not for sale but you do see them in swappa, eBay, etc for around $100 give or take.)

Thanks Samuri for HoB.

For an unknown reason yesterday my Bionic desided to start rebooting about every 5 minutes. Tried a factory reset that failed, probably do to frozen apps. Naturally I was just leaving the house so I didn't have a phone for about 7 hours, but as soon as I got back home with the help of HoB and RSD Lite I was up, running, and rooted in no time. Took longer to reinstall all apps and get things set how I like them.

Wow, haven't seen Sir E around in a while - good on ya!

I'm about to HoB(ble) my BIONIC - Needs a few things fixed, plus I want to do a fresh start from scratch with all of my internal storage wiped out as well. And I'm replacing the currently used Superuser and su binary with Koush's versions, respectively.

I would say wish me luck, but I'm pretty well past that point :P

John, don't be silly, get SS 3.11 and jump on the JB bandwagon with the rest of us. CM nightlies are so smooth :D

I already have SS3.11 - and I'll be putting it back on too.

I just wanted to ditch the old Superuser and su binary, and realized that I wanted to clean up some other stuff as well, and decided that FXZing my phone would be the better option to begin with.

I just posted in Moot whether the KExec based JB nightlies are actually worth it, and / or the AOSP JB + Kexec, and now looks like I might be up late tonight playing. Again.

Good news - I have a UHS-1 micro SDCard. Bad news - it's only 16 GB :P

I just copied everything from internal storage (sdcard) and from the micro (sdcard-ext) to my computer, so I can fully wipe everything and start completely fresh.

Of course, setting up 6 Google accounts, 4 Outlook accounts, plus Yahoo, 4 Netzero, and a few others are gonna suck battery life - not to mention Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, and a few other SoMed sites lol....

But of course! Your app is well designed and well thought out and it just works.

I manually replaced the superuser.apk and su binary files myself, of course, but all is well.
