HOBs last action was Flashing houseofbionic_radio.xml
1 file copied

RSD just asks for me to manually power up

The phone is rebooted already and at the setup screen. I'm assuming it's done?

Just finally got around to updating to 246 after being on 232 since August or so. Used the full FXZ Keep Data with no trouble at all. The on screen prompts were even easier than I remember the first time. FXZ took half the time the "install" did last time, but that's probably because I was little less afraid of using it this time around. Had a brief internal moment of freaking out when HoB just sat there after clearing the cache and my phone was sitting in AP, but I just hit the power button, the phone cycled through, and 246 was running and ready to go! Thanks again for the great tool!

As I always say...first attempt, keep data. If that doesn't work, full FXZ.

My issue ended up being that i expected rsd to close on its own and didnt. I closed it after it was all done, and bam hob got back to it! But i did have a few random drops since doing the sim and this. The one time i tried it, a restart got it back again and steady. What bugs me is that i loose ALL service. I either have 4g or nothing. When it seems like the loss happens during areas that normally are 3g only. Its also been using more battery with my usage the same. Perhaps its constantly trying to make the handoff and never manages to get onto 3g so it keeps trying until 4g is avail again... It does manage to get onto 3g no problem at times... maybe just vzw messing with stuff?

It's possible. Or it could be a problem with the phone. Not really sure.

There is now a Cyanogen mod for this device is there something that is part of that that you might be able to use to get us JB faster?

The House of Bionic has absolutely nothing to do with roms. And a rom is not going to get an update from Moto pushed out faster. They were behind before today, and further behind as of today.

JB is available in the form of CM10.1. Still has lots of bugs with it but it will improve overtime

Which is a rom. And has nothing at all to do with the House of Bionic. I'm thrilled that rom devs are able to get builds out for the Bionic. And now that DHacker and Hashcode have joined the CM team, I expect those builds to get better, but, the HoB is designed to work with official Moto builds. Like 98.72.2x that we're currently waiting for. The RAZR is in the middle of getting its 98.72.16 build. D4 should be on deck with 98.72.18. Our build is not doing so well in testing.
