Maybe. Things are a bit up in the air right now. Not sure what's going on with it at the moment. Stupid razr and d4 builds need to go out.

Today would be a good day for them to start. Saw a tweet, look-up @JP1044 on Twitter :)
Edit: False alarm, a new JB Razor Rom released yesterday...oh well!

I've read and read and read.
Been at it for two days.
Been in chat room most of the morning working with a fellow.
Can not get Hob 1.6 to work on Ubuntu.
I need help.

All the xt875 will do is go to Mobo logo and stop.
With phone connected to PC via USB cable,
in ap fastboot mode and
When running 'HouseOfBionic.sh' the following error occurs over and over and over:
./utils/fastboot.linux: 3: ./utils/fastboot.linux: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
rm: cannot remove `/run/user/root/gvfs': Is a directory

Yea, that's bad. You're missing libraries. Read the readme and see if it can help you. I don't have time at the moment to debug this. I replied to your thread, as well. This will take some work. Basically your system is rejecting the fastboot command.

It shouldn't have. Anyway, it's delayed. No one knows for how long. They're having problems. And that's not just Bionic.

The moot thread. He's saying he can't access it. Not the private one, the general one.

Hi guys i am new here and having problems with a bionic, reboots after 2 min, i can get to AP fast Boot etc. and the phone stays on, seems to be the thing to do is use the HoB to fix this issue maybe. But its been awhile since i rooted or Unrooted a phone, so i am a little confused on some of the steps, I realize being a noob and messing with a phone is a bad thing but this thing is a paper weight at this point so it can get much worse, Right? So here goes my questions and i know some of you will be thinking is he kidding he cant get to that point, but like i said havent done this in awhile so i am alot behind. I installed the drivers ,installed HoB, downloaded the FXZ 246 file, and had RSD 5.7 installed before i found this thread but did install the HoB RSD but not sure if this is a seprate RSD program or just linkes the two i didnt see a change in my RSD ( might be some of the confusion on my end ) While i am on windows i have put the FXZ file in the root of the HoB i think (C:\Users\maindesk\Desktop\SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic\root\246_FXZ) thats where i put it when i click on there there is a zipped file and a unzipped file.
then when i run the HoB from my desktop it comes back with a error FXZ directory not found so i assume that i have put that in the wrong spot, A little guidence here would be great, please ?
Or am i doing this all wrong and i should have put all this on my phones SD card and ran from my phone, that was the other part i am lost on,

I assumed you put phone in AP fast bott do above steps connect phone to computer and run the HoB and follow on screen instructions. I can flash the FXZ file to the phone using just RSD and the file but still had the same issue Shocker i know Right !!!

I am sure most of you are think throw the phone in the trash cause your going to F it up anyway but its already there :D
Thanks for anyone and everyones time i really appreicaite the help

You took the "put it in the root of the HoB directory" far too literally. Root of HoB doesn't mean make a folder called root. LMAO. You have:

C:\Users\maindesk\Desktop\SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic\root\246_FXZ

It needs to be:

C:\Users\maindesk\Desktop\SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic\246_FXZ

well you see told ya i am alot behind but in my defense the Root folder was already there i was just trying to follow instructions to the "T" course i am a bit moronic at times, and now just put the phone into AP flash and run the HoB and follow instructions ?

Be sure to let us know if it works on the reboot. I have a bionic that is doing the same thing. I've FXZ'd several times, swapped batteries, even flashed a cricket wireless for giggles. Still reboots. Starting to think its hardware for me.

well i ran it as a new install Chose 1 and then then factory reset option 2 after it was done phone rebooted on its own didnt go back to AP boot, and then it went back to reboot and boot again, so i turned it off restarted in recovery and tried to apply the 246 file from SD card ( it didnt have a SD card in it when i got phone so i copied the 246 file onto SD card and named it update, not sure if this is something you still need to do, or if thats even right ?? on my SD card there are only 2 files the FXZ246 that i put there and LOST.DIR.. Am i doin that wrong also? I got this phone in this condition that it is in I am wondering if it has other internal issues, when its booted up and at the please wait screen you can see what looks like other things that look like they are burnt into the screen like a monitor that has been left on for to long on one logo and it flickers a little.

If it's rebooting like that chances are that it *is* hardware, throwing kernel panics left and right.

Might be interesting to do a dump of that partition that houses the kernel panic and see what it shows....
