Date doesn't mean poop. The release notes post in the FAQ means everything.

Sorry, I'm explaining myself poorly. I just meant that while that post appears to be from August 21st, it has been edited many (many) times. And a casual observer would just gloss over it, thinking they'd read it before. Which also makes my thought above wrong- it's not about the release date, it's about the post date. So a "Edited 11/17/12" at the top would make that very clear.

Or not, it may just be me. I was initially confused by the release notes post, and the FAQ and initial "welcome" post being dated some time ago yet quite current, and I'm easily confused. But then I'm old, so.

Meh. It's not something I'm going to bother with. The simple point is that the HoB OP always contains the latest version, the online FAQ contains the very latest relevant info, and the release notes page is always kept up to date with the latest release and what's new. This I do religiously so I'm not too concerned about adding some artificial date that doesn't really have any meaning. Most people realize that the posts get updated when something new is released.

Sam, I am sorry for the dumb question. My command prompt looks right the first time I run HOB. It extract the files, etc "everything is ok" all that is good however when i exit HOB and then go back into it and run the BAT file, i get this in command prompt

Also the 246_FXZ directory that I created in HOB is now gone.

No not normal. You clearly didn't do something right. No idea what. Do it again and follow the directions.

EDIT: Nope, looks like a bug. I'll fix it. Give me a few.

Yea, that was a stupid bug on my part. Working on a fix now should be about 5 minutes. Also, rename the .installed folder to 246_FXZ.

9.5 WINDOWS RELEASE

o) Fixed idiotic bug when checking for FXZ zip. If you ran into this bug, rename the .installed folder back to 246_FXZ and update to 9.5. Oops.
o) Updated adb. Please let me know if it causes any problems with DETAILED reports of issues.

Something like that. There are still a couple bugs that no one SHOULD ever encounter but I'm sure someone will. It won't affect flashing or the phone at all, but, if someone were stupid enough they could break some functionality I added to the HoB. It's easy enough to fix but I'm not going to bother right now. If anything, I may spend some time bringing the linux/mac version back up to part with the windows version. We'll see. I'm on vacation this week but don't know if I want to spend my time working on the HoB.
