OK, quick question as I have been away for awhile. I am currently running the .246 leak and am rooted, all via the HoB. Should I 246fxz or am I already back on the future OTA path and would not benefit from the 246fxz?
Sorry if this was already asked!
About a thousand f'ing times.....make that a thousand and 1.

A: Update to HoB 9.2 or later, install the WEBTOP installer, and run the FXZ KEEP DATA option

Q: I'm an idiot and don't understand version numbers. How many versions of 246 are there and how do I know which one is the OTA?
A: 246

You should essentially be running the FXZ at this point.
Thanks for the time Sam and Daemoen, the webtop install was all it took. Great job!

If you need another mirror, please PM me. I keep everything "current" on Google Drive except the HoB itself because I just can't keep up with your versions.

I think we're good for the moment but thanks.

No. Just use the FXZ KEEP DATA or FXZ Factory Reset options. No need to do any other $#!7. Use 9.2. And make sure to install the webtop installer.

OK I think I'm good now. After reading the last 10 or so pages of this thread plus re-re-reading the first page and FAQ I came to the same answer you just gave me.
Now we shall see how well I can follow directions.
Thanks Sam!

Sam, when you get ready to do the work on Linux/Mac, let me know, we can give it a nice menu dialog and all

Lol, given that my MacBook pro cost more than 4x what most people spend on their gaming computers, that made me lol =D

First of all, thanks a lot for putting all of this together, and for continuing to support everyone, even though no one deserves it
Funny thing (OK, maybe not, but whatever), I just used HoB (8.4) to update my Bionic from 902 to 905 two days ago (it worked perfectly, and I feel like I owe you something. Point me to the donate button), and was just about to go update it to 246 right now (wanted to give it a day or so to see how it behaves at 905), but I decided to check your OP again, just in case anything had changed in the meantime, and now I see that you released 9.
my stupid question --> is there any critical reason I should use 9.2, or can I just proceed with 8.4 and be just fine?
