No problem. I just wasn't sure what version you had actually installed. On 232 I believe it should be working for you. I don't know if a factory reset will fix it, but, it can't hurt the chances. If you back things up before you do the factory reset, make sure you only restore apps that are "safe" in that they don't touch system data. NO system data at all should be restored after a factory reset. Games and stuff that doesn't touch system data at all are safe to restore.

I've used TB on my rooted kindle fire, but I didn't root the bionic with HoB
Is there anyway to backup the bionic apps w/ data without root and TB.

Google should add that feature to backup your apps data to good drive (so I don't lose my progress on angry birds, LOL)

Yea, there's some backup program out there that doesn't require root but I require root as basic functionality of any device I use so I have no experience there.

I ran into a small problem on my Bionic when I ran the script. The update functioned as expected and I'm now running .244 however most of my apps were lost. I did some digging and it seems that the apps I lost were all of the apps that were on my SD card from APP2SD. There were a few apps I had on the phone itself and those survived the upgrade. Other than that, your script was awesome and worked perfectly. If anyone runs into this, just re-install them from the play store.

My script doesn't delete any data on the sdcard at all. So I have no idea how that could possibly happen. You didn't try to use one of the FXZ 905 options before you did the install did you?

Let me be more specific. It didn't delete any data from the SD card. It just "forgot" about any apps that were installed and running from it. I did not FXZ to 905 1st. I went right to install .244

6.1 RELEASE

o) General cleanup of the script and menus
o) Split the transfer option so that you can now push the update, and then check the md5. This allows a person to copy it manually if needed, and then to go back and check the md5 by selecting N to the transfer update prompt.

It's just a maintenance release. Trying to clean some stuff up. Some people had problems with the transfer option hanging at "daemon started". I've tracked that issue down. Basically? Your phone isn't being detected by adb so it's just sitting there hanging at the waiting for device command. I've made this more explicit for messaging. In any case, this isn't a huge release but should make it a clearer for people.

I've officially quit trying to keep up with your updates!

It's like crack-installing or something in those lines... I have kept up to date but sometimes I go through multiple versions before I even have to use them. lol

Also, advanced HoB users....I'm going on vaca for a few days starting Thursday night. There is a very high chance that 244 will soak Friday afternoon. If that happens, you will see an influx of users on this thread and my DF HoB thread wanting to upgrade to that build. I need a couple things...first someone needs to pull the soak build and md5 hash it against the HoB 244. If they are the same, then all that needs to be done is to help those having issues. Make them READ my OP and FAQ. But a LOT of 232 users are going to want to update without losing data. All they gotta do is install the HoB and use the INSTALL 244 option. And not skip any freaking steps.

If I can get a hold of the Soak I'll check it for sure - you know me and my obsession with md5 strings.

And I say they can skip if they have already copied it over to the SDCard b/c they are jonesing :P

You have no idea how many people I had to talk off the ledge this week. Damn near everyone was ready to jump to 244. I'm not as concerned with the users here as I am with the ones on DF. There's a lot of great people over there which is why I've stuck with it even after the last ridiculous nonsense. But others can't be bothered to read and get themselves into trouble.
