Am I the only one who uses the "Advanced Restore" option in CWM?
No.... but there are other issues I've seen crop up from doing if that way as well. Personally I don't make nandroid backups anymore with CWR. For as fast as I can flash and restore my device using other software I see doing them as a waste of my time so I stopped making them way back when I owned my limited edition Droid X

1st flash of this ROM on a brand new rooted Maxx.
Everything is working fantastically except in Smart Actions, when I try to do a location trigger, I get "No meaningful locations to display". Somewhere else I saw that I needed to download the sociallocation.apk and move it to system/app. I did that and rebooted and still getting the "No meaningful locations" issue.
Anyone have any ideas?
Smart Actions was removed from the ROM so it will not work. I know you can download the app from the Market but it will still not work because of some of the file dependencies that Nitro removed from the ROM.

No, the hacked Zumcast will work for any device and the latest version is 1.1.3I'm gonna give Zumocast a shot. I noticed on the ZUMO website, there's no RAZR supported. Should I worry about this?

I have been running Eclipse 1.3 as my primary ROM for some time. I really appreciate the speed and stability.
I do have one request. Is it possible to change the color of my calendar without adding an entire theme? I am not a big fan of the themes, but I could use a calendar that is a bit brighter. The dark red is a tough to see unless the screen is at max brightness.
Thanks for any advice.

Root Tools from the market will let you change the boot animations. The screen on and screen off boot animations are giving me a headache and driving me insane. I can't find an option to turn them off, does anyone have any suggestions?

Accounts access not working
Not sure what you mean here. I can add and modify accounts under Settings>Accounts without any trouble. Did you wipe data before flashing? I believe that was recommended for this build.

i do believe he's referring to the CRT animations that several other ppl complain about but as far as i know there's no way to turn them off in this version.

If you came from a different ROM or upgraded fro man older version of Eclipse I'm going to guess you did not wipe/reset. If tha tis the case then that is why you are having the issue. You need t ogo back and factory reset and then should be good to go.
