I have not and haven't seen anyone else post the issue. Did you fully wipe everything coming from AB5? Being an ics build I would think making sure you wiped cache, data, dalvik, format system is a must.Does anyone else have this issue?

This is a sweet rom just wish it had motocast.
In the OP he has a link for zumocast, which is motocast just not moto branded.

I did wipe everything but I restored apps with data

That will cause issues. Try reflashing and installing apps w/o data.

i tired installing and i keep getting an "E:signature verification failed" and it aborts install. I did a data and cache wipe and i'm on 173.. any thoughts?
bad download it sounds like. try redownlaoding it directly on the phone. I've seen it many times when I download on my comp and then transfer the *.zip to the device

restoring apps with data should be fine as long as its not system data. Its just the data thats associated with your apps. thats how I always do mine and it works fine(non ICS of course)
Agreed...... and with that said currently I've been testing doing App & Data restores on all Eclipse builds including beta builds. I do so using Titanium, My Backup Pro and another just to make sure they are working correctly. And yes I restore check everything, wipe it again quick to restore using a different app to double check.

I am running axiom ab4 and would like to flash to this from. It seems more stable as of now. I am on android 4.0.3 and have no back up of a .173 version. Can I still flash this or will I brick? My back up got deleted on accident. Any advice will be appreciated? Thanks guys
I had the same scenario. I used the Razr Utility 1.4 Full to flash back to stock .173. From there, I rooted and bootstrapped the stock .173 to install this ROM. No problems since!

won't work that way. the only *.zip files that can be flashed in Stock recovery are the ones for OTA updates from VZW/Moto. To flash this rom you need to be rooted and use Bootstrap to boot into CWR and then flash it

Am I the only one who uses the "Advanced Restore" option in CWM?

no.... But that sometimes causes conflicts as much as titanium backup.
