Can u add smart settings to this please? Tried to get from market but cant find all the actions that came stock. Awesome rom by tbe way

If you mean Smart Actions it was removed for a reason to get rid of all the stock Moto garbage. to put it back Nitro would have to add back resources it needs and it defeats the purpose of the ROM being Blurr free as much as possible like the majority of folks want

OK guys...I had this same issue, and about freaked out...try this:

Turn phone on, when you see the Android guy DO NOT TOUCH
Then, starting with the top left corner of the screen, touch each corner of the screen clockwise (top left, then top right, then bottom right, then bottom left)
At this point you should get a FC for setup...then you should get a box asking if you're sure you want to exit setup- YES- then you should get to the screen that tells you which parts of setup you completed (except none will be checked) click OK.

Then you should be at the homescreens...hopefully your signal should appear (assuming you were on the most current system version) ...

I hope that helps :) please report back so we know you are OK :)

Setup is working fine for me. I touch ANDY and everything goes through just fine. It does F/C right at the very end of setup and goes back setup screen then I hit home key then skip.

In bright red text with capital letters it says not to go through setup and just press the home key to skip setup...

I would highly recommend wiping with this time. There are several framework changes in this build.

Greetings,

I just updated to 1.3 from 1.2.1. I am wondering if I did something wrong, because this seems way too easy...

I did the following:
  • Format Cache
  • Wipe System
  • Formant Davlik Cache
  • Install zip
I thought that the Wipe system would kill all of my apps and make me re-install, but everything is already there. Can I get away with this or should I re-do this with more effort?

Thanks for any advice,

Doug M.

I am trying to do a backup of my current 1.2 rom build before I install 1.3 and keep getting 'Error while making a backup image of /system'. I have 20213MB free on the SD Card. Any ideas?

Never mind.. I tried again while still in bootstrap and it backup successfully.

You never wiped your data partition. If you have bugs from it, I will not be able to help you troubleshoot. If everything is working fine I would say you are good though.

Do we need to do a 'wipe data/factory reset' if coming from 1.2
