I just noticed that Tapatalk Pro is being retired and the free app will be all that's left. Seems the notification for this announcement was made somewhat passively ( a little blurp in the app description from the play store). All current pro users will continue to have the same "perks" within the free app that we have now. Our accounts will become VIP accounts. To find out more, please check it this link.

Its funny cause they say that under the free app, us "VIP" members will have no ads and all that. I'm using the free app now, it shows me as VIP,and there is a annoying ad at the bottom of the screen. I'm hoping the changes just haven't been made yet and will after today. The worst part to me is I ended up paying for their paid app twice (pro version and HD version) and now its all going to free anyway.

They been saying this for the last month and now there is only 1 tapatalk....im still using tapatalk 2 on my bionic i refuse to update it....lol

Yea I kind of figured this had been planned for a while now. Its almost upsetting that instead of emailing the people who paid for their app to let them know, they just kind of throw a blog post up and say a little something in the apps description. I mean hell, we were paying customers and kind of deserve that respect. Oh well, it is what it is.
