I have been rooting since the days of my T-Mobile G1 running on AT&T in New York, and never has the rooting process been this easy *(Verizon CDMA Droid Razr MAXX)!
The first thing I did was get Titanium backup and it showed root with no issues, thank you SO much!
Now that I'm in the special playground AGAIN, maybe some folks could tell me what their favorite ROM is these days so I can venture forth.
Again, you are DA MAN and thank you so much!

That seems odd. Sorry for the noob question but have actually EXTRACTED the utility to your desktop?? Some people open the zip and try to run it without extracting it

I'm currently Rooted and running safestrap with Matt's 1.7 utility. I would like to completely wipe my phone and start from scratch (I'm a little OCD about starting with a clean slate when I load something new on my phone). Can I just run the fastboot option in the updated utility to wipe everything,or should I remove safestrap first?
Currently running:
System 6.16.211
Android 4.0.4
Go ahead and run it. It will remove safestrap since it puts you back to square one

OP means OriginalPost.... .... my apologies i just assumed everyone knew that reference..... anyway you will find information and links that should help you along the way.... but we are always here to help if you run into any issues....what is OP? I'm pretty good at rooting and such but the directions would be nice I looked at the readme file and in the folder but I don't see anything.

So I should flash the stock ICS before updating to Jellybean correct (when it comes out)? Also, it won't wipe any of my data? When I choose option one I should enable USB Debugging first, and then put my phone into AP Fastboot right? Sorry if these are noob questions, I've just scanned the forums and this was my first root so I'm just a little hesitant.
Yup you will need to go back to stock for JB. No rush though since we haven't heard boo about it
Yes return to stock will wipe all your data. Back it up. Titanium backup works great for that
Yes USB debugging and fastboot mode
