First off, i am running Windows Xp pro. I've used this Utility plenty of times in the past and it always worked as it should. But now when i open the utility and am in AP Fastboot mode and connected USB and try to flash .211 OTA my computer screen goes BLACK after i choose #1 and click any button to continue once the process starts. I just get a black screen and phone doesnt do anything and always have to hard restart my computer, as my monitor stays black. I also tried this with RSD Lite and same problem with screen going to black after i click start to begin flash. I realize it's something with my windows xp but have everything updated and even did a fresh install of windows thinking that would solve the problem, but NOPE! It still persist.
Any ideas on why my Monitor screen goes black and stops working when i try to use this utility or RSD Lite?! Hope someone has the answer out there. Thanks guys.

hmm, not sure...the utility is for ICS so I assume your still on ICS....are you admin? latest drivers? are you in the folder where you extracted the utility?
maybe try another PC....
Yes i'm on .211 ota now with eclipse rom so that's not the problem. And yes Admin and latest drivers as well plus everything extracted to utility folder. I know it would work on any other pc as i've tried this before but i only have this one pc at home plus a macbook pro laptop but it seems as if the steps to use this utility on macbook are way too crazy compared to windows and looks like i would need to do a lot more.
Appreciate the feedback though and hope to get an answer from someone who may have run into this.

We usually only see that error when the USB is unplugged for one reason or another during the process..... I would try running the utility again, maybe use a different USB cable and/or a different USB port on your computer....

To the first post, I was in bootloader.
But that makes sense the cord I have is a little screwy, Ill pick up a new one in the morning and try again. Thanks for the quick responses.

I am having a problem opening the.bat. It keeps closing. I have drivers installed. It is unzipped. I do run as administrator. Running on standard windows 8. Would appreciate some help.
The problem probably lies in windows 8... we have seen the utility fail to run on some windows 8 machines, and then run perfectly on others...... not exactly sure why tho.....
