Since the 214 and 215 updates are no longer possible candidates they were removed. Each kernel is 8~MB so it saves more room as well.

So I understand your logic of leaving out leaked updates. But do you have an opinion if you think it is worth upgrading to 215?

Thanks

Bootstrap is not compatible with Jellybean Roms.

no,you can install from either side

So just to confirm you don't have to go back to your stock side and unistall SS2.0 (with the unistall recovery in the SS2.0 app), you can just install the SS2.11 on your Custom ROM side, open app and hit install recovery? Is this correct?

So feel free to jump all over me on this one sense I'm a new at this, but for people who want to root and are just getting started, one of the biggest concerns I have and I think most of us have is being able to unroot if we want to got back to stock. With utility 1.82 all you have to do is boot into ap fastboot and run option 1? Do you have to have the ota 211 on your sd card?

If I'm still on a a GB 2.3.6 ROM (.173 kernel), can I use this to upgrade to ICS?

If not, what do I do? (other than revert to Blur ROM and OTA)

NO! This utility is for ICS ONLY, not for going from GB->ICS. You will need to use V1.7, I believe, give me a few and I'll get it mirrored for you. Also, feel free to join the chat room, it's much easier to communicate there. :)

First, I want to say that this utility is freaking mind blowing! I had hell rooting my droidx using xterm a couple years ago, so i'm thankful you guys have made such an easy solution. I wanted to know if I have to turn off safe mode to install the Voodoo root keeper?

Matt,
Thank you for the update on your truly Effing Awesome Utility. Have you tried using Bootmenu Manager with CDMA ROMS? Or do you just stick with Safe Strap 2.11. I tried Bootmenu 2.7 it was nice being able to easily switch between 1st and 2nd Systems, when I uninstalled it and and used your 1.8.1 utility to Fastboot flash the OTA I get a (webtop not Found) error. when it trys to write the webtop. Since it's not needed on ICS I'm not too concerned . Do you know any way of flashing the GB webtop on the 211?

Thanks again
