I just got my Maxx free on black friday, downloaded this yesterday and rooted mainly for the sake of being able to use Titanium Backup to restore all my game save files LOL
This was soooooooo much simpler than back when I rooted my droidX. You'll be seeing a donation when I recover from the rest of the shopping I did that day

Trying to download the 1.82 version and the File Factory Link tells me I need a premium account and the Batakang link is no longer working (as of this morning at least). Any other download locations?

I'm having a problem with the drivers install for my Verizon Droid Razr Maxx (ICS). I dowloaded 1.82 from the direct link (post #195 above), after disabling anti-virus and firewall. I extracted the files by right clicking the .zip file and selecting "Extract All." I then opened the unzipped file and opened the folder DroidRazrUtility, then the folder Drivers[REQUIRED], then double-clicked the install for 64 bit. I then click Run. I then select the option for Repair Motorola Mobile Drivers Installation 5.9.0 (I assume that's the correct choice vs. Remove). I then click Finish, and I continually get the error message "A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file.." followed by the location of the file on my desktop. I then click OK, and get the message that, "The installer was interrupted before Motorola Mobile Drivers Installation 5.9.0 could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again."
So, do I just need to install/repair the installer and, if so, how so? If not, what's the problem? Thanks so much for the help, I appreciate it!

Just going to reply quick to see if this helps before I get some rest,
Try downloading winrar (google it), and then extracting the folder to C:\ (that would be your local disk). Uninstall the old Drivers, from windows control panel, add/remove programs or for windows 7 (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features).. reboot, then, go to your local disk C:\DroidRazrUtility, and try installing the drivers again and see if that helps.. If it does, reboot again and continue..

For some reason, it doesn't give me that option. It does for the root utility, but not for the driver.
