I had updated my (droid razr m xt907) phone last night to 4.4.2 and i dont like it. I was running 4.1.2 before the update and it was great. How do I go about getting it back to 4.1.2? Im not very savy with phones, so the simpler its explained the better. Thank you and please only serious answers.

How would I know if it has a locked bootloader? The phone was unlocked and on AT&T but when I upgraded it, it wouldnt read the sim, so i believe it went back to the verizon network.

Power off the phone...... Then hold all 3 buttons until the menu comes up..... Use volume down to highlight fastboot..... Then volume up to select it......it will tell you there if its unlocked or locked ...:)

It can't be bootloader unlocked ..... Now carrier unlocked may be a different thing..... I would research radiocomm for that.... I'm not sure if can still be done....

There's a lot of confusion in this thread.  Lemme clear it up.

First, carrier unlocked is different than bootloader unlocked.  I'm also not sure if 4.4.2 can be carrier unlocked or not.

Second, your bootloader is locked so this is an entirely moot discussion if 4.4.2 can't be carrier unlocked.  There is no downgrading a bootloader locked phone to a previous version.
