So since we have gotten this going I really wanted a Media server for my music which is almost all FLAC all the way up to 192.

I had a spare lower-end pc so started with audiophile-linux (ap-linux) while waiting for my Pi. :)

Had lots of different issues but was kind of able to make it work. Again since its on a PC it has more horsepower than Pi but thats part of Pi being less hungry.

Pi came, checked out Rasbyfi which turned into Volumio and also RuneAudio which mustve been team members with rasbyfi before they separated since the UI is the same. Theres some blurb on one of the sites fwiw.

Volumio is based on Raspbian and Rune is based on Arch-Linux. I was able to get both working after many different trials and tribulations. Volumio overall was not able to really keep up as well as Rune so that is how I have it for now.

Raspberry Pi with an Audioquest DragonFly and a Plugable 7 port High Speed USB 2 Hub with a wifi and a 2TB WD Passport. Also got a mini wifi keyboard/mouse if I want to plug that in :)
