Hp launched a new 7 inch Android tablet this week, aimed squarely at the lower end of the tablet market. Called the 7 Plus, HP's newest mobile device offering is not likely to wow anyone reading this with its specs, but it's price tag may be a different story. The tablet sports an ARM Cortex A-7 quad core processor, 1 GB of memory, 8 GB of storage expandable via micro-SD, and a 1024 x 600 display. Oh, and it comes out of the box with Android 4.2.2. Hardly mind blowing, but decent specs, especially considering its $100 price tag. But wait, CNET is now reporting that there's already a coupon code available, which drops the already low low price to $84.99. I'm willing to be that some of you who are reading this spent more on the cases that house your phones than that. The tech savvy will most likely overlook HP's newest offering completely, but those who are looking to get started with "this whole new tablet thing" would do well to take a look.
