I need to reload ICS in the stock ROM slot. It shows SafetyStrap v3.05 as 'not enabled' for that slot. Can anyone advise me on how to reload ICS? Thanks.

Safe mode not enabled on stock ROM when you boot is your recovery red? If so active a slot rom and you should be fine

That happens sometimes
Go to settings display and toggle auto brightness it will turn them back on

That did the trick! Thanks for the info.

My recovery is red...do I need to reinstall SafeStrap? What do I do after I make another slot active?

Once you have created the partition in ROM slot 1 activate it, wipe everything, then install a ROM and gapps if needed.

So I shouldn't try to install stock ICS blur? Just find a good ICS ROM? Do I need to reinstall SafeStrap? I appreciate all the helpful advice from the forum members here.

You can install a blur based ROM if you want, yes. Stock is safe in the stock slot. 1-4 are for custom ROMs

This definitely isn't a huge deal, but is there anyway to change the color scheme of Google Now back to its original state? Thanks!

First of all, this rom is absolutely outstanding! I have had only one issue in the last few days I have been using it.

When the number of lock screen targets is changed under the "rom control" section of the settings menu, the lock screen will allow you to slide the padlock to the unlocked padlock, but will not actually unlock the device. The phone will unlock if you slide it to a different target and then press the home button to go back to the home screen, but it is an annoying inconvenience. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance for any responses.

(I have flashed and checked the md5s for both the rom and gapps twice)

Its an aokp issue. We have to wait for them to update the source.

Choose the "AOKP actions" subcategory, and then choose the "Go to homescreen" option. Then just click the little picture next to it and change the icon to the stock unlock symbol. Works like a charm

Stock isn't safe any more...it is corrupt and won't boot. I would like to reload stock. Last time I did it from my laptop using DroidRzr Util 1.8.1. Can I still do that without affecting the FT KB ROM?

You will need to make a backup- at this time we can't flash on stock side.
Use the utility and return to stock from there root and install ss3.05 then restore your killer bean backup

I had the same problem with the stock unsafe side (I am assume you are still using the SS 2)..I did a Factory data reset and it came up. My data was gone but it beat doing a fastboot to stock and it did not affect my safe side. Hope it works out for you.

I did that too and had stock ICS but FUBAR'd it when I tried to restore system and data via SS 3.05. Oh well...thanks for the advice. Won't be too hard, just time consuming.
