I've been running jelly stock 1.4 for a few days and have gotten horrible battery life. Android OS was over 30% consistently. I wiped battery too but no luck. I rarely got over 10 hours.

TSC has found there are some problems in the AOKP source code. Same with CNA and AOSP. For now I would recommend using one of the unmodified ROM's from TSC, like the source from 11/24

My GPS issues seemed to have resolved themselves after a failed attempt to install Cyan1.4SB.2apps. I get a message that this volume can't be opened. Is there something else I should do?

Also, the OTA check says I have an incompatible ROM when I check for an update. I am on Cyan1.4SB.

I thought I was the only one seeing trouble. Sent a message to TSC earlier this morning. I thought it was me and a bad download. When I loaded the new test ROM and modified GApps, I was boot looping. Wiped, etc...Same. Waiting on a fresh charge and was going to download again. But...I am wondering if it's a bad upload now. If TSC gets back to me, I will let everyone know (unless they reply first). I don't OTA is going to work properly since we are on unmodified test ROM's and TSC might not have them linked to the OTA properly since we are testing.

Have you tried Battery Calibrator? I installed the 1.4SB over 1.3, only wiped Dalvik and battery stats, and then used "Battery Repair, aka Doctor Boost" when it hit around 15%, then once it hit 100, used Battery Calibrator. Usually Battery repair apps are a bunch of bull, but this one seems to work great, both on stock and ROMs. Yesterday I was at 86% after 8 hours.

The only other thing I've done is use the Doctor's enhancements that are at the beginning of the topic. Hope this helps.

Anyone having any issues with LTE dying? After setting up my note toggles, i havent been able to get 4g to come back up, even when a stock razr sitting right next to it clearly was on 4g >.< Tried restarting, toggling data, toggling airplane mode, toggling 4g (le doi), et al, to no avail. any suggestions on how to correct this? Oh, im running 1.4 AOKP

It's a joke.... or do you miss that?

Serious comment, not trying to be mean.... but it is a joke. AOKP gives you the ability to turn your swagger on and off.

I have an oddball question. I am taking a trip outside the country to Europe, I have been switching back and forth between Jellycore Stock and Cyancore Kexec. I know this is a CDMA ROM, but my question is, will it still connect to GSM networks? Will I still be able to use this ROM during my trip to Europe or will I have to revert back to Stock ICS?

I flashed Cynacore yesterday and I'm loving it except for one thing that happened today. I had data both 3g and 4G until I toggled off 4G this morning since I don't get a great signal at work. Once I left work, I toggled LTE back on but it did not come back on. No matter what I do, my phone does not pick up an LTE signal now. I've tried toggling airplane mode off/on, removed the Sim card, and rebooted to no avail. I tried changing the network mode to LTE Only and I don't get a connection at all. While I was doing all this I was in downtown Chicago where I know there's a strong LTE signal.

Does anyone know why this would be happening or what I can do to fix it?

I'm not sure about the fix- I did that once and a reboot fixed it, but for future reference, I don't think turning off LTE is supposed to work on (what I assume is) Verizon. That's why none of the widgets for it in the market work, or work well. To save battery and hassles of emails in class, I usually turn off mobile data instead- this is even better than just going to 3G (you only get texts and calls, just no MMS while its off).

I think I wiped dalvik and cache, but you could also uncheck the 2 Verizon specific functions under the network, reboot, recheck them, and see if that re-initializes.

New source ROM is up folks. Loaded it up last night, and she is running a little smoother. If you are on an unmodified CM10 from TSC, then go get updated.

And for those that aren't following Hashcode on twitter.....He posted before the weekend that they are working on 4.2.1 right now for us Razr, Droid 3, and Bionic users. I think Droid 4 and kindle fire HD as well.

You will have to give it a whirl....*#*#4334#*#* will get you into the Phone info. Try flipping it over to GSM, report back and let us know :)
