Cyancore v1.4 is Android 4.1.2. I installed it last night and love it so far MMS seems to work fine . I'm dying to have Bluetooth calling , but I'm going to try to
stick it out and wait , because I love this rom so much.

The unmodified CM10 is pretty sick. I wish I could get MMS to work though, but it was very impressive. TSC built it from source, so it's a true TSC ROM based off of CM.

@deman85.....When you download the Kexec version, are you at least using SS 211? STS Dev Team has also made some changes to Kexec since TSC put out their version. Most Dev's have put Kexec on the shelf until STS Team can get more bugs worked out. They are working on a number of Moto devices right now, so its going to take some time. I played around last night with CrackTeam's latest version and it was so insanly fast. I was shocked at how fast it booted up for starters. Camera isn't included still and I couldn't get MMS working either (gotta be my model of RAzr). If you are dying to try a solid Kexec build, I suggest trying their build.

This kid has banged out the new JB 4.2 GApps for all phones!!!! I have yet to try them, but I have it downloaded on my phone and will test later. Anyone up for testing these GApps with any of the JB builds from TSC? Please report your findings if you do test. I have a ton to do today but this evening once I get a fresh charge going, I plan on testing the new test CM10 build with these GApps

Cool, may have to check it out. What's the camera like? Even after reading the OP I'm still not sure what the difference between these roms is

Tried this and it didn't work out very good. Reverting back to the GAPPS from this site.

Two main types....kexec is a custom kernel. Allows the ROM to bypass the Moto ICS kernel. Gives the dev Freedom to manipulate the kernel where right now its locked under the boot loader. Then you have the stock choices. TSC has built from two sources....CM10 and AOKP. Both are different flavors of jelly bean. Kexec is basically experimental at this point and the camera doesn't work at all. I would stick with the stock builds for now

Only thing I can think of is you cannot reboot w/ kexec. With kexec you have to power all the way down and start up from powered off. Try a wipe of cache. Power down and power back up. If it doesn't work send me a pm I will point you to a nightly kexec build you can try

Thank you for this explanation. You've made it very easy to understand. I was very big into flashing with my original Droid Incredible, and was pretty active when I first got the RAZR MAXX, however bc of the lack of options I have fallen out of the loop. I am currently using the Full Throttle Killer Bean rom and it runs like a dream. I suppose I'm still trying to figure out how these rom's all differ, which is better, etc. Thank you again!

So after I installed the test CM10, set it up I installed the 4.2 gapps. I gotta say....poop is sick. Only issues I am having is the photosphere will FC while trying to align. Typed this reply with the swipe keyboard! Gmail seems more crisp. Keyboard is tight. Only complaint is no camera options really

Will other camera apps work or is it just stock?

Also, do you mean the cyancore 1.4, or the latest 11/16 cm?

Yes...I am on the T3st Cyancore 1.4 build. And any camera apps should work, I am referring to the new Google 4.2 Camera App. Loaded up most of my regular apps, tweaked out the ROM a smidge via Toolbox...Lost 18% of my battery over night, which is the best battery life I have seen so far on a JB ROM. That was almost 7.5+ without it being touched, ringers & such turned off (Quiet Mode). Normally I would wake up and the battery would almost be dead or dead. MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT!!!!

Status report for 11/19/2012
CyanCoreV1.4 is still in testing, battery life is amazing according to the doctor. Will be adding in all 4.2 apps. They look great.

AOKP source build failed again today. I will be running it every day until it spits out a working rom.

On that note, only Cm10 source is working right now. Haven't messed with kexec builds since there is no camera yet.

I am uploading a couple of test roms, they are the next version of DualCore. If you try to test these, you NEED to flash the included modified gapps. I don't know what will happen if you dont...

With that said, know these roms are still being worked on and we are making good progress. :)

I read somewhere that photosphere will not work on RAZRs because the gyro isn't enabled.

Really like the swipe keyboard. Been using it for a little while now. Think I like it more than Swiftkey right now.
