What exactly is the issue with MMS? I haven't sent or received any in a few days; will the stock application not send and/or receive MMS with these ROMS? You said that fixing the permissions will fix MMS. Will this fix MMS with the stock application, or only with 3rd-party applications? Thanks in advance for the clarifications.

Stock mms has been sketchy since the first builds, that's why TSC made it uninstallable. If you uninstall the stock mms and use Handscent as your primary messaging, you shouldn't have any problems sending and recieving messages.

For those with problems after flashing, please try the following: set up phone, install and update busy box (smart install). Reboot. In recovery wipe cache and dalvik cache. Restart. Problem with flashing is no matter how diligent the dev is if there are any remnants of a previous Rom or missing binaries the Android system will go crazy trying to find everything it needs to operate. If it has conflicting programs the CPU will work away your battery..and heat up the phone. I have made this common practice after an install and found the problems usually go away.

Thanks, Haven't had any issues yet and phone is not overheating anymore!

Fix permissions did not seem to fix stock MMS for me. Can't seem to get the stock app to send a pic, on either CM or AOKP stock...

try handscent that came preloaded. GO SMS Pro is another decent 3rd party app, try one of those and report back

+1 I'm still hung out on the old one.. And Question? Should we reflash using the older "Gapps" when it does come back - meaning the new download?

I am sure when they have the rev. 1.3 uploaded the OT will have a full detailed "how to"

When the newer CyanCoreV1.3 comes out, here is what you should do:
If coming from any other build than the old CyanCoreV1.3, please perform a data wipe as some things have been changed that require this. Use App2zip to save apps and settings.

If coming from CyanCoreV1.3, a couple apps were removed and added, so please uninstall tweakerz and rom toolbox. Just to be safe, clear dalvik and cache. If in doubt, do a data factory reset and save your apps with app2zip.

I have always used the gapps that is provided in the op, i have never tried any others and I have heard that newer versions break certain apps so to be safe, stick with the one in the op.

Download busy box from market, after you download and install, open the program and click install again then reboot, should run smoothly after that.

Good things take a little bit of time, but we are working out some kinks now. TSC has got a few things taecon and I are having him try as well. Testing so far is going well :)

I've read a couple pages, but don't see if Bluetooth works, does it? Thanks

Didn't see anything in the OP about it not working so I'm guessing it does?

1.3 with the updates is far better, with what TSC has upgraded and the doctor and I have recommended you will notice an amazing improvement in both response time and battery life.

Exciting news! Got a goo.im account, meaning you can use the GooManager app to update the rom without having to check here. It should automatically check for you, if I understand correctly.

Edit* I haven't implemented this into any of the roms yet, but I will keep you posted.

Ahh...it has been pointed out to me that there is an even BETTER way to update roms, via OTA update manager. I am now implementing this into the CyanCoreV1.3 build that I am still testing. Things here are looking great. Hoping to upload and post tomorrow.

CyanCoreV1.3 revised is finally released.

Just downloaded, installed busy box & running very smooth. Thank you TSC. Great job. Are there inverted gapps that work with Cyan ROMs? Just curious. Thanks again.
