Seems that the battery drain after installing busybox has slowed, but on the Doctor's suggestion. I will wait a couple days and see what happens then. Now, I just need to understand why only part of my sms messages are getting to me.

Go into Rom Tool Box, go into the script editor. They actually have a script pre-loaded to fix permissions...Run it. I have mine set to load at Boot as well. You can also run a Fix Permissions in SafeStrap. I have NOT tried to do it in SSv3.04. This will fix MMS

So for now I think I am going to start over with JellyCore V1.1 and CyanCore V1.1, and re-add in all the tweaks. I found out the guy who wrote those scripts (Battery and Performance) who went by Leviathan, is actually Bytecode the dev. This doesn't mean go bother him about the scripts, I already did :) I am just stating this so he gets his credit.

After some long, hard, thought, I thought about a couple unnecessary things within the current V1.2 roms and I will rebuild them. I have had plenty volunteers for testing so I know that won't be an issue. Bytecode did tell me that the hotplug and hotplugx governors are known to max out the cpu a lot, so keep that in mind.

And awaaay we go. I am still trying to do kernel development. I feel once we have accomplished this, we will truly have a unique TSC experience.

Doctor I just want to thank you for your support.

Any time mate. I work full time, have a kid on the way and a 4 year old already making me turn grey, and somewhere in all of that I have to keep the wife happy. I might not be able to support your head with tasty brews like Fat Tire or Moose Drool, but I can at least support, test and provide feedback on all you crank out. And who knows...maybe some day a fine brew(s) made right here in Michigan might make it to you mail box ;)

@The Doctor. I know this is OT but man, I got to thank you for explaining things the way you do. You really know your stuff and I would be first to vote for you for a place in the rescue squad... if it were left up to a vote lol.

That was a good enough explanation for me. I'm actually happy Google purchased Moto. Now somebody needs to kick Verizon for their shared data plans, so I can actually upgrade to the phone I want rather than trading...but that's another topic for another thread. Anyway thanks for the info.

I think that's the best I have seen yet? Any tricks or tweaks you can share, or you just running off of the defaults? :)

This may seem like a stupid question, but will this work better on the safe or non-safe system? It's on my safe now, with stock 4.0.4 as my non-safe and it seems a tad more buggy than it should be from reading everyone's posts.

So in the 1.3 builds we no longer have the option to set hotplugx or so at boot, since we have to manually load the modules after each reboot now?

Edit: Other than that and having to install cpu sleeper manually (which I had purchased last week, anyway), Cyancore 1.3 seems to run great on SS 3.04. I took The Doctor's advice and used his additional kernel tweaks and my phone is blazing even faster! :D

Did you load the modules in Tweakerz, first? Including symsearch.
