@TeamSpeedCore.....I can verify uptheirons findings. There is something within AndroidOS that is running the CPU pretty hard. I too am seeing it hold around 39-40% usage. I know you'll find the process that is running the battery dry, I just hope it's soon

Out of all these roms on DROIDrzr.com what does anyone think is the best Aokp, aosp or cyongen rom to use as far as tweaking and everything working Or that has the most stuff working with the least amount of bugs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I'm not sure if it's a matter of which build is better. The Dev's are trying to build JB flavors for all kinds of users. Scalpel is a very good build, so is JellyCore. I have been using JellyCore the past few weeks, and I really enjoy it. I also really enjoyed Scalpel. I haven't really had the chance as of late to test out all the other ROM's, but I am keeping my eyes peeled for a AOSP ROM. dhacker and hashcode are still tweaking everything and working on SafeStrap v3. Once SS3 drops, we'll be able to multiple different ROMs. Good things in the pipeline, so heads up. But to answer your question....Try all of them! That's the only way you'll find "your" best ROM

I just wanted to mention, you stated in the OP about setting the scheduler to SIO to apply on boot, but I was under the impression this wouldn't stick due to the locked bootloader. I thought it had to be run as a script to set the scheduler, unless JRummy changed the apply on boot setting to function differently.
I believe this is true when you have AOKP Performance do the scheduler for you. I heard rumblings of that too, but I believe if you use ROM Tool Box, it will hold at Boot. When I run the benchmarks, the I/O holds at a pretty high number and I use ROM Tool Box.

working on getting us a better performance and battery fix. there's a lot of kernels available..I am testing and things are looking good!
Been using the script for Battery TSC and I got the error at first, but at boot it's locking in. However, I have noticed that it puts a pretty big strain on the initial boot. Once I get the message the script has been locked, phone is fine again. Just not as smooth as I think it should be. Almost like my phone is battling internally and then one side gives up and we starting playing nice. I think the bulk of our woes is this stupid Moto ICS Kernel to run JB. Nice to hear you have some other kernels to choose from. Man.....I cannot wait until you guys get Kexec working flawlessly. You can actually FEEL the difference in your phones performance on Kexec!

QR Codes-no matter what app I try, whenever I hit "scan," it opens and freezes completely (just the scan screen, not the whole app/phone) and I can't scan. I've tried QR Droid, Scan Life, and Google Goggles, all with the same result.
Data off with screen off: Very, very annoying, I posted earlier and didn't get a response (or at least I did, but it wasn't what I was looking for, and it seems this is just an issue that's not resolvable). Basically, whenever I am running an app like Pandora or Grooveshark and the screen shuts off, whether I do it with the lock button or it does it on its own with screen timeout, data stops streaming. It will finish the song I'm on, but once the song is over, silence, until I unlock the screen. Really annoying while I'm driving and trying to listen to Pandora.
Other than that, I'm not really thinking of any other issues. Battery life is incredible, and it's so smoothe and fast. I've only experienced freezes and restarts with Pandora, but that seems to be an issue with the app (read the reviews).

Issue 1 is a global bug, it's in the actual AOSP base that AOKP/CM10 are built from. Can't do much until the STS Dev team fixes it
Issue 2 I had this happen to me on a few of the early, early builds. But I haven't had it happen in a while now. Have you cleared your cache and see if that fixes it? I know I sound like a broken record, but are you using BusyBox to update the SU Binaries?

This is what I get when attempting to use ROM Toolbox and battery saving script!
That is the error that TSC mentions in the OP. set it for boot as well. When you reboot it will lock in

I think there might be something in the build that's acting funny. Teamspeedcore is working hard to figure it out. They said they will have another test ROM out shortly to see if it fixes the issue. The issue, for me anyway, is that it kept the CPU pegged at 1200 pretty much 100% of the time. I went back to the former version for now but I'm sure they will figure it out! After installing cyan core 1.2 I've had the WORST battery life ever. I even did the make it last script and followed all the steps in this guide carefully. I have my processor set to on demand for now and the battery life has been acceptable for half the day I'm at 35% with not much use of the device. First i had it on smartassv2 then hotplugx. Thoughts or suggestions?

On CM10 latest spyder, I've seemed to have lost notifications sounds. And when I go to access them (set one).. per emails, ect... it doesn't play a preview or anything of the sound in settings. Hrmmm
*bump* Do you think this may be somehow "user error" on my part?

Disregard, I did another clear cache & Dalvik then a "Fix Permissions" and now have my notification sounds back and working properly.

Ha. That's what I get for not refreshing the page before I comment.
Hehe, Yea I had just posted that but thanks for your help. Doing that just came to my mind finally as the only answer and thankfully it fixed it!
