ever since i upgraded to cyancore v1.2 my battery life is noticeably worse than on v1.1

i haven't changed anything or used any of the scripts.

no overheat issues.

but is there a reason the battery life has taken a hit?

was the previous version (cyancore v1.1) basically running a battery saving script, and the new build prop tweaks are the reason why the battery is worse? just trying to get a bit informed, thanks!

Ran JellyCore 1.1 with no problems then reflashed to JellyCore 1.2- Very buggy when first installed, I installed busy box and seems to run fine afterwards. You do need to reflash Gapps, even if just updating from V1.1-V1.2. MMS recieveing currently isn't working for me, even with messaging unistalled and running Handscent. Alos getting overheat problem and 60% battery drop. Will install new V1.2 without tweaks and see if it gets better.

Try the battery script that is stored (see OP for instructuions). At 6am I had a 100% charge. Have used the phone to make a call or two, internet, emails, etc and I'm down to a 72% charge. That's pretty impressive when normally I would be creeping around 50-60% by this time of day. I do have CPUSleeper, I have hotplux govenor, sio I/O scheduler and the battery script all turned on. This combo so far has been impressive.

I uninstalled stock messaging and Handscent (just not a fan). I have been using Go SMS Pro for SMS/MMS. It's a little fluffy (kind of a chick app IMO), but it's pulling down the MMS downloads in rapid time. Once dhacker and hashcode get MMS working, I plan on flipping back to stock

Thanks, if it still doesn't work with the new "no tweak" version, I will try Go SMS.

Does anyone else have the LED Flashlight toggle option grayed out for the power widget in the notification drawer?

I downloaded motorolas led flashlight and the "brightest flashlight" app, neither allow me to use the toggle in the pulldown bar

EDIT*
Inverted gapps?

i turned on the battery script, and idk if it was just my imagination but it seemed like everything wasn't as smooth.

Running Test rom JellyCore 1.2- no Rom Toolbox adjustments- Reflash Gapps- Reinstalled Busy Box
No overheat problems as of yet (about an hour of use)Battery seems to be dropping at a normal pace
MMS on Handscent now works again w/ messaging uninstalled
Camcorder does not work
Camera Front/Back/Panarama work fine

Will update after more usage today and try the Rom Toolbox(OP) adjustments

* Camcorder works sometimes...

The GoSMS Pro Grey Theme makes it bearable, if not fairly attractive.

The 2nd and 3rd to last pics on the sample pics is what it actually looks like. Not sure what the other pics are for.

Out of all these roms on DROIDrzr.com what does anyone think is the best Aokp, aosp or cyongen rom to use as far as tweaking and everything working Or that has the most stuff working with the least amount of bugs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

using the no build prop cyancore v1.2 battery almost always overheated since I flashed it. Drained from 50% to 25% in almost two hours. the boot logo was laggy but that's no big deal. sending MMS on handcent stopped working.

Just for feedback purposes, battery life on a RAZR maxx was around 11 hours until dead on cyan core v1.2. On 1.1, I had around 30 hours with around the same usage. I didn't use the ROM toolbox.
