I've been looking for a good Matrix Boot Animation for long but never found one. So decided to make one for myself.

Finally , here it is.

The matrix rain, followed by 'The matrix has you' message and then loops back to the rain.

 

720x1280 at 30fps

Instructions

• Using your explorer go to /system/media and rename the existing 'bootanimation.zip' to 'bootanimation.bak'

• Copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media

• Reboot.

Installed this animation on a Razr HD 9.18.94, rooted, locked bootloader, safestrap v3.63, and sometimes it would boot loop.  Renamed the stock/original bootanimation.zip.bak.  The bootanimation.zip was copied into the /system/media dir using ES File Explorer and the permissions were set to rw-r--r-- (644).  Ended up going back to stock droid bootanimation.zip.

it would be good to find an alternative to the stock droid boot animation...not too fond of the stock droid boot animation.  Any suggestions...i would be happy to try a different one.

It works flawless for me. Perhaps you can try and lower the fps if you wish.

ok i will try a lower fps.  

wondering if you might share how to set a lower fps?

just turned on email notifications so i will see your response sooner.
