NEEDED:

A brave locked M user who has NOT taken the OTA already to flash KK with these exact instructions in the OP.  I want to see if you can then downgrade back to 9.30.1 using the same instructions with the 9.30.1 FXZ and the universal script.  If it works, root should be possible for those who've not taken the OTA already.

done :p  :

can't back to 9.30.1

Fastboot say : Partition (boot) Security Version Downgraded

preflash validation failed for boot

So much for that idea then. Damnit.

There is no fix. You cannot do that in KK anymore.

Would any of you have a link to the 4.4.2 zip? I've tried getting it but keep getting directed to 4 shared. Doesn't download and get bombarded by spam and now have a virus I'm dealing with.

Here, you can use my MF account for now.  Don't share this link.  I will pull it once Kaos puts his link up.

I need an advanced locked user to test something for me.  Since the FXZ is available, there's not a lot of risk.  I just need to know if what I wanna do for the RAZR HD users would be worth the time and effort involved.  It should be a really quick and easy thing to do.  Well, not too quick but it shouldn't brick you and even if it does I can help you get your phone back without data loss.
