Hello guys,
I have been trying to put my Razr M back in working condition.
It is stuck in bootloop or you can say is currently soft bricked.

I have tried v4.0.4, v4.1.2 and v4.4.2 via RSD lite but it does not work with any of them.
I have downloaded everything RSDFlasher and I did run it many times but now I am getting sick of it.
So posting here to seek any kind of assistance and help.
I will be grateful.

Thank you

Your phone must be in fastboot mode, using a usb 2.0 port, Motorola data cable not a knockoff. and the drivers must be loaded properly.

Also to save you some swearing you don't have to erase the user data unless it is a scrambled partition that is causing the problem then it is a roll of the dice as far as a hardware failure goes.

This is all you have to type in from fastboot prompt.

fastboot oem fb_mode_set

fastboot oem fb_mode_clear

fastboot reboot

VZW_XT907_4.4.2-KDA20.62-15.1_1FF.xml is the latest file. Try using House Of Moto by SamuriHL. Follow the instructions exactly

You have not provided any information ie: android version and build number to make any guess possible. If your build number ends with anything above the .10 then no it can't be unlocked.

After flashing with the latest file through House Of Moto 4.3, i get the error "No valid PIV block in SP for system, piv validation failed (system) Fastboot Reason: Boot Failure"

House Of Moto appeared to show a successful flash but at reboot it went to this.  Any idea what i can do to get it to work this time?

Make sure you are using a usb 2.0 port on the computer and your usb drivers and cable checks out, with the fastboot reason you are showing the other thing it could be is a hardware failure in the memory module.  There isn't anything you can do except replace the memory module or the entire main board of the phone in that case.  With the cost of that it is better to upgrade to a newer phone.

I work for Verizon Wireless as a sales agent on the floor, i was just hoping to have this as a loner phone for customers to use while theirs is being repaired or replaced.  So it's not a huge enough deal to go through all that extra work and money repairing this one. Thank you for your advice on this, spainter.  It's much appreciated.

Honestly, working for the carrier, I would caution against using a phone on an old enough os that the security is so old that your customer would be open to attack. I realize that it would be just temporary, but it could pose a legal concern for you or your store should something occur.
