Rom seemed to be much better before i updated to 1.2. I used OTA updater, wiped cache and dalvik, flashed rom and apps. and phone seems to discharge a lot faster.
1.2 included a lot of governors so you should look at your CPU settings to make sure you're not set to something too aggressive.

I like this Rom, looks and runs great. Just one question, is there a way to change whats on the lock screen? The other roms have an option in the lockscreen setup, I don't see it here. Maybe im just missing it, been through all the custom setups...
Thanks and keep up the great work!
P.S. Data, MMS, Signal strength all work good for me.
aokp version
Go to settings-rom control-lock screen.
All the mods for lock screen are in there.

Charging great through the wall adapter. took a few mins to get from dead to 10 % turned off. I just did a full wipe so we will see if there are any changes. Thanks for the support and quick responses.

However, last night I left my phone charging and I woke up this morning to a message stating that "System has force closed." (or something along the lines) It hadn't even charged a bit and it was hot hot. I'm doing a full wipe and installing the latest version,
Do you have any recommendations on what to set the governors to? for best balance between battery life & smooth performance?

First off.... this build is smooth and nearly flawless for me. Excellent job. This is my everyday ROM. I just have a couple of issues that really aren't a big deal, but I thought I would just check.
1. The boot still goes black for quite a long time. I thought it was only the initial boot.
2. Every time I turn my phone back on, I have to choose my Launcher. I choose the "always" option, but I still have to choose
upon each boot.
3. After each phone call, when I remove the phone from my ear, the proximity sensor doesn't turn the screen back on. I
have to press the screen lock to turn the screen back on.
Any answers are very much appreciated. Thank you for this great ROM, and all of your hard work.

Thanks for the reply...I'm trying to replace the Google option with Handcent on the lock screen. it used to be an option in lockscreen settings to put up to 6 icons on your lockscreen. No big deal, still love your work!

Also, Interestingly enough, Just having blue tooth activated with or w/out it being connected to anything broke my in-call audio until bluetooth is turned off

Is anyone else having issues with bluetooth headsets? I tried streaming Spotify and Google Music through my bluetooth headphones and neither one worked. Phone calls are no acception

Welcome to aokp and cm ;-) this has been an issue for as long as non-motoblur roms have been around... This is the only reason I don't run one of those roms... Very sad and disappointing but I can't complain, these devs put out some top notch stuff :-)

Heywood guys....just a couple of things.

1.Long blackscreens between the safestrap splash screen and the boot animation aren't an issue on this rom. There are no init.d scripts running. The time between those two events should be a matter of seconds.
2. If you just took the 1.2.1 update then you were being asked to choose a launcher again because I just updated Apex launcher. Any time there is a launcher update you are asked to confirm which launcher you want to use.
3. I have the settings for this sped up in the build.prop so I will take a look at it. Thank you for your input
I don't know how much you read through this thread but the bluetooth bug with CM or AOKP has been around for a very long time. Myself and several other people, including the person above me have already answer this question. It is an issue within the kernel. We have locked bootloaders so outside of kexec, don't expect bluetooth to EVER work right on ANY rom other than a stock based one.Is anyone else having issues with bluetooth headsets? I've actually found that if the music (Spotify in my case) isn't playing over the BT headset right away, if I turn the volume down to around half it will all of a sudden cut in and then begin working just fine. It's almost as if the volume is set to 0 by default and needs a manual refresh. BT headset: LG Tone
