I probably would to be on the safe side (no pun intended) since op says 1.0 had bootloop issues.

Are you talking about AOKP or CM10? cuz i dont think AOKP 1.0 was ever released to us cuz of bootloops. I could be wrong in which case the biggest difference is from 1.0 to 1.1 is the lack of bootloops

Just slightly more customizations, but both are great.

Does anyone know how to stop this popup? i get it after anytime i try to text someone thats using their instant messaging service, like aol, msn, etc.

Just loaded this and so far, I really like Aokp! As far as the instructions saying it takes a long time to boot up the first time, I don't know what you are talking about. 2 minutes from reboot to the sign in screen.
Great job and I am looking forward to trying this thing out.

I also get a FC when I open Messaging Settings. Inverted Messaging would be awesome too. I am so so so glad to be back on AOKP!

Was on WiFi last night when trying it out. Really the only time I'm not on WiFi is when I'm in my car. I can send MMS just fine, but I receive nothing when someone sends me a pic. not even a message without a pic. its like they didn't even send anything to me.

Edit: Oh well, I'll be patient until SMS is fixed in JB. No one sends me pics anyway. heh

Yes. this is Based on AOKP-the Other Scalpel is based on CyanogenMod 10, they are 2 different bases. Sorry for the confusion.
