Not sure if many of you know or not but I am currently in the middle of a field exercise for the next 3 weeks and will not be home until November 21st. When I get home though this ROM will be updated. Sorry for being away for a while but duty calls lol.

Try wiping data on the stock messaging app. If that doesn't work then I'll look into it in about 3 weeks when I get home.

Yeah didn't work :/

receiving will occasionally work but never sending...on the stock app at least.

Try unfreezing stock messaging. Go into its settings and enable "auto retrieve" and disable notifications. Don't freeze stock messaging.

Next go into SMS pro's settings and set it as default messaging app. I use GO sms w/ grey theme (both found on market), so try this if sms pro still doesn't work.

I tried that as well. Its something with the stock app that it has to be installed for MMS to work. I disabled the notifications in the stock app and use go SMS messaging and it works fine receiving and sending.

are you still having issues with this? I removed the stock messaging app and replaced it with go sms pro......in go sms pro settings there's a setting that asks if you have removed the stock messaging app click yes and go sms pro will take over as the default MMS and SMS app. that option is located under important tips.

Soooo..... since I flashed the 10/19 my camera stopped working. It says gallery force close. Anyone have a fix? Or does anyone have a camera/gallery app that works well together?

I also flashed the 10/19 ROM just to play with some JB goodness, and no matter what I did I couldn't get MMS working. Otherwise, ROM was sick! Keep up the great work BigDaddy and thanks for your service

the key to getting MMS to work is to make sure go SMS pro is the default messaging app..

Every MMS message has worked for me since then...using go SMS pro of course.

Update: after a reboot MMS stopped working again. Tried everything I did before to try to get it working again, but sending just refused to work.

Guess the only option is to wait for a fix on the stock app.

Just switched to this rom, i like it a lot. But being a cm10 rom it doesn't have many tweaks, why? I thought cm is usually highly customizable? Also ota updater doesnt work it says invalid rom & device combo. That makes no sense??

I would say cm10 is somewhat customizable. If u want something that is very customizable, try one of the AOKP ROMs. As far as support from the dev on this rom, it is my understanding that he is on somewhat if a leave as he is an American soldier so his schedule can be unpredictable. Sorry, wish I had more info. If this does suit ur needs, maybe move on to something with more features.

If u want completely stock looking then you don't want any of the cyanogenmod, aokp or codename Roms as they are all aosp based and don't look stock at all. Simplex is my favorite Motorola blur based rom. Eclipse is great too, but its not at all stock like. That's what I got.
