Did you copy the apk to system/app and set permissions to rwrr? Or did you do something else?

I'm assuming you are meaning that Google Play Music didn't come with it? If that's the case, it's on the Play Store, or in the GApps Package (Can't remember which, I just remember that it didn't come with the ROM straight out)

Install instructions are no different. Wipe data/cache/dalvik, format system, flash ROM.

Thanks worked like a charm. I had taken out the app from a stock moto ICS but it didn't work. Your apk worked after I cleared data on app and ran again.

So, just flashed last night and to answer my own question... Yes, it does have project butter and screen transitions are incredibly smooth, awesome! I installed the Droid HD launcher (razr M launcher), so now I have the best of both worlds (aka circles widget and jellybean) from Resurrection and Droid HD roms. I haven't used Apex or Trebuchet, so I don't know what the benefit of those are, if anyone would care to elaborate on those.

I honestly haven't noticed any problems besides those mentioned in the OP and retreiving MMS (I think someone might have a fix for that). I do have a few questions, though. My photos get stored on the internal sd instead of external sd, is there a way to change this? Is there a way to turn off sound effects in the camera app? I rarely use the camera flash, but is this something that may be fixed in future releases?

Anyway, this is my first CM based rom and all I can say is settings, settings, settings... I love it! Thanks!

Occasionally when I get a text I don't get a notification, then I go into the messaging app and see that I have new messages. Using trebuchet and stock messaging app. Any idea why this happens?

I wiped data and reflashed to see if i could make things better. Still getting gallery fc. Quite frustrating unfortunately

This ROM is the bomb. Only thing I miss is the stock dialer that offers T9 dialing. I don't know my friends phone numbers. I like to dial by name.

t9 is included by default, try possibly clearing cache or phone app??


1. anyone have a battery issue on the max since second update?? Seems like Android OS (not Android System) is using more than usual (even more than the screen!), haven't really used it much, steady 4G. Original Rom was better at battery life. (could just be me).

2. Also I am getting a notification issue (sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, or sometimes it just is a blueish / light color instead of the color it should be).

3. As for MMS I can't send or receive anymore via the regular app, says "invalid address" or something since second update. So I'm using GO SMS for now (anyone know if Chomp or GO is better??)

4. Other than that, have had 2 random half reboots, just goes to cyanogen boot (not the motorola dual core or even the safe strap), then boots up. Happened in Facebook and Gmail I believe.

5. Lastly, Barcode scanner doesn't work for me, anyone else having an issue? It just freezes. Possibly because there's an issue with the camera?

6. Also any ETA on the FFC???
