Anyone having issues with GPS? Whenever I try to use navigation it just hangs on waiting for GPS. Sorry if this is a known issue, didn't really see anyone else say anything about GPS problems

I just tried it its working fine also voice is working too.

Can you not receive, or send.? What are your settings for data?

Did u follow those instructions ? Did u try clearing the apps cache?

I'm having the same problem with MMS receiving and sending. All other data works fine.

What instructions are you referring to? I've tried clearing the cache, no fix.

by the way, for people having any MMS issues or getting 3G instead of 4G, this is a temp fix:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

I found the link after I figured it out myself.

Alternatively some people say using GoSMS works too.

Let me know if this helps anyone, hopefully we just have to do this temporarily !

These instructions. Make sure settings are LTE/CDMA both in settings and phone info. In phone info u can change it to that and then turn off radio and back on, wait a few minutes and go back and click download.

Also what kind of MMS issues do you get an error, does it just say downloading.., are you able to send? etc...

Done it all, man. I got one message after I flashed yesterday but nothing since. Never been able to send.

EDIT: So I went thru these steps again except this time I did it about 3 times to the point that data wouldn't come back and I couldn't get over 1 bar of service. The only thing I did differently this time is after the 3rd time, I switched network to lte/cdma only vs default (lte/cdma/gsm/evdo/wcdma.) After I switched back to default (lte/cdma/gsm/evdo/wcdma) again and toggled airplane, I rebooted and cleared cache. Now it's all working. No idea how or why this doesn't work first time.. it sounds like one of those things that you'll have to keep playing with until it works?..

Yeah... seems like if we reboot we might have to do this, sometimes I do sometimes I don't. Glad it started working!! Hopefully there will be an actual fix for it soon.

This is actually a pretty good ROM for being a second release, I'm sure Hicks is working hard to perfect it. This is going to be my daily driver for awhile, was thinking of going back to stock but the few little bugs it has aren't that bad to make me switch back. (For now)

Whenever an update comes out for this rom, do we need to re-flash? as in format data/cache (factory reset) format system format dalvik and so on? or can we just boot into safestrap and install the .zip?

You'll have to at least wipe cache and dalvik before flashing any update. You won't have to wipe data though.

Thank you for the quick reply! Love the ROM, just an update - been using it for almost 18 hours off of one charge with pandora, navigation, google now searches, and normal browsing. And it is only at 50%. Amazing. +1000

I'll be updating soon and I will be adding some stuff to it. Along with that, I might do an AOKP build as well but I'm not 100% sure yet.

POLL RESULTS ARE IN!!!!!!

Ok peeps, I ended the poll because we pretty much have a clear winner! Here are the results:

*WINNER* Weekly Updates - 70 votes

2 Times A Week - 41 Votes

Longer Than Weekly Updates - 7 votes (lol)

As promised, the ROM will be updated every week. Not sure what day of the week yet but most likely it will be every Friday.

Hey Hicks,
I'd really appreciate an AOKP build as your previous KOA AOKP was my daily driver until JB was working on the RAZR's.
Also, would love to Beta test anything you've got cooking for the RAZR.
Thanks and keep up the great work!

So, this ROM is fantastic, but I'm having an odd problem. When I make phone calls, the phone calls go thru, but I can hear nothing. I don't hear it ring, I don't hear an answer....I hear nothing. Any suggestions?

***Update - I got it to work fine, by simply wiping the cache. Love the ROM, Hicks!!!

Any plans for a KOA AOKP JB ROM? I was running KOA AOKP ICS until all the jelly bean goodness started becoming solid. The KOA AOKP build was hands down one of the best ROMS to date, keep up the great work ;)

really? i thought gapps needed to be flashed again because when you flash the update you're flashing over the system partition, which is where the gapps are.

is it different with this one?
