Is anybody having an issue with the facebook app? The font seems way to large and commenting is not working at all. It was fine yesterday when I was running Stock CM10 rom. It seems to have broken when I flashed to KOA... which is by far the best JB rom out there.

For some reason it will turn on and I can connect to the AP but say for instance when watching a video, it will buffer at bad arse speed( the just all of a sudden stop..then buffers no more killing the connection essentially..

Also I know that on the more Moto ROMs, u use sqllite to set entitlement check to 0 but what are you referring to that I need to change permissions on? Am I totally missing something ?

Where'd you hear that? I'm using the built in hotspot in settings right now. Has always worked. Permissions are changed to disable the entitlement check our bypass the provisioning. Third party hotspot apps aren't really necessary.

<br /><br />No sorry. Didn't mean to confuse you. You don't need to use sqlite to change that field any more. It's already set by default in the Rom.

Not permissions, provision. When you use the hotspot service on a stock device it go's thru provisioning... Ie, making sure your line is set up to use the service. (Normally extra $20) Well when you disable the entitlement check, it basically bypasses that check. Allowing you to use the service without charge.<br /><br />Sent from my XT912 using Tapatalk 2

Yes facebook is like that for some reason, no really sure why... only app that does that i've noticed so far.

No you don't need to change anything, we just need to use the default hotspot app on the phone rather than 3rd party apps (for some reason not sure why).... as for a buffering issue not really sure maybe someone else can help you I haven't noticed any issues. Is it a connection issue?

No, full bars LTE when this is going on..I noticed it on ICS ROMs too..maybe I should create a thread to post the question..I even think I could be being throttled then? .

Alternatively some people say using GoSMS works too.

Update on the issue i mentioned earlier about the pictures not showing up in gallery. music apps (apollo, play music, amazon mp3) can't see the songs i have on either my internal or external SD cards.

however, file explorers can see them. but when i select a song to play through file manager, it won't play it.

EDIT:

i've updated to the newest release, too...

just wanted to let you know that all the pictures i had on my external SD are showing up in the gallery, and all the music on my external SD is on google music and playing fine. I'm not sure why yours is doing that.

how come you can't get to google now using the app tray button? i know you can get to it from the top but i was just curious.

just press the search key for google now, and hold it to go to google now voice, since we have hardware keys and not software keys I think that's why.


Also, anyone having issues with barcode scanner? I think it may be an issue since camera is already buggy??

things that i've noticed:

-whenver you install an app, it always says there's no more room on the homescreen even though there is

-youtube videos stutter and skip around

I've had no issues with this ROM. The Data is perfect, MMS works fine, and only thing that I can complain about is the Facebook app. for some reason it doesn't work properly.

Also, on other JB roms I was able to adjust the image for yourself in text messages , but in this rom it FC's when I try to do so.

Been on this charge for 10 hours now and it's at 75%. that's what I call battery life.

EDIT: ONE MORE THING...lol...I would like to request that in this ROM the ability to change the messaging settings on how they display. Currently it is a line message but I would like the option for Bubble. If that is already an option I haven't found it. (I don't like using other MMS programs, esp GO, GO stole money from me and refuses to reimburse me.)

More than likely you'll need a third party app of possibly theme... that's stock messenger that looks like that.

Can you not receive, or send.? What are your settings for data?

Did u follow those instructions ? Did u try clearing the apps cache?

Anyone having issues with GPS? Whenever I try to use navigation it just hangs on waiting for GPS. Sorry if this is a known issue, didn't really see anyone else say anything about GPS problems
