Hey everyone I just got the Droid Razr M from my buddy since he switched to an iPhone and just had to root it and unlock everything well after hours of playing with it I got it all set up just the way I wanted but after one day i had it plugged into the charger and my son ran by an got caught in the cord an it got yanked out of the phone. No big deal I thought lol ya I thought wrong cuz when i went to plug it back in I realized those little 5 prongs were bent. So after hours of trying to straighten them with a paper clip and a tiny flat head two of them broke off and the phone wont charge at all. So now my battery is dead and I have no phone lol Im going to swap out my micro usb port I found the part number and found them for sale on a few different websites but Ive never done this before. I'm pretty good at things like this from an engineering stand point but MY QUESTION IS: has anyone else done this or attempted to do this?? any help or advice would be greatly appreciated ANYTHING lol so lets open this thing up lol literally.
