Its pretty dam stable . Data is good for me. There are tons of built in edits . I'm going to toss IMO'S kernel on it to see how it does.

Great ROM. I installed the lean kernel on it. I hear the battery life is pretty good on it.

Yeah batt life is pretty good. Im running the lean kernel also. I get a little screen flicker every once in a while but that's about it. I have to say this is the most stable JB ROM out.

Man I'm still running stock with root and unlocked bootloader. I've not seen anything that would make me jump into a rom yet. Plus I don't really visit the other sites much to look at the roms that are out. I may just hold off and wait on dirtydroid's build. This thing gets great battery life and the crap I don't like I froze and I still get all the samsung stuff I do like. I just froze sdm and fwupgrade or whatever they are since I was getting an update request but that should take care of that.

I currently have the OG RAZR, but changed from my unlimited data to a 10gig to save money. Seeing as how I was never using that amount anyways. But i do plan on using my upgrade for a GSIII, when I played around with the stores demo I fell in love with the screen. How does the camera compare? The battery is bigger right? Are there ROMS out? Better Kernels/Battery saving tweaks?

The camera is definitely better. Faster, better quality pictures, and more features. The battery lasts longer than an OG Razr, but not as long as a Maxx. An extended battery will cure ant battery woes real quick. There are plenty of Roms out, along with Kernels, and now even 4 radio choices, although you'll have no signal problems with the S3. Definitely a worthy upgrade! The S3 is one helluva device, especially for us root nuts with the bootloader now unlocked :D

I just traded my maxx for a sgs3 also. I've got it rooted and unlocked but no ROMs yet. I wanna make sure I got everything backed up first. Especially the IEMI. Anyway Ive got black baked on my Nexus 7 and really like it.

If youre on the latest OTA yiu wil need to use Odin to go back a version. The latest patched the unlock exploit, it bricked me when I did it.

Just got mine today and within hours started the no sim deal. Anybody else deal with this? What cases are people using?

Take the OTA or flash the HD radio. It will get rid of the no sim issue. Flash this in CWR :)

It automatically took the update. Dont want to end up with a stupid like new replacement. After 1 day I'm going to take it back and see if it still does it. I've read several forum even on the Verizon site some people after several different phones solved the issue. Of course it was hit or miss and neither Verizon or Samsung admitted to a problem. Actually is was different from one person to the next.
