? Now, we recognize this device is lacking VZW connectivity, which is a big drag amongst this community. But, let's pretend for a moment that carrier is no barrier. You're free to use whichever carrier you want and you're open to use such a GSM device which will work just hunky-dory with the local LTE network. Now, let's pretend you'd have to bail on your VZW service and jump ship JUST to use such a device.

FWIW, the OnePlus One is Quad-Core CPU, with a Qualcomm© Snapdragon™ 801 processor with 2.5GHz. It has 3GB of LP-DDR3 RAM @1866MHz. It also has an Embedded rechargeable 3100 mAh LiPo battery. With a 5.5 inch JD I080p Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), 401 PPI screen that has Corning© Gorilla© Glass 3 protection. It also has a 13 Megapixel - Sony Exmor IMX 214 with 6 Lenses to avoid distortion and color aberration. Plus Flash Dual-LED an Aperture of f/2.0 and a Front Camera of 5 Megapixel - Distortion free Video4K resolution video with stereo recording Slow Motion: 720p video at 120fps. This device also has a rechargeable 3100 mAh LiPo battery for longevity.

On top of all of this. This is an open and unlocked device that comes standard with the LATEST version of Cyanogenmod 11 as STANDARD!

Anything that may have been missed has most certainly been met or exceeded past any other current device available from any mainstream OEM.

The One Plus One is the TRUE Flagship killer! The caveat: it is currently ONLY available on: NON-VZW Networks. Basically ANY GSM, worldwide networks that are also US available such as AT&T or T-Mobile.

I think the rather large internal storage that might be available would be the selling point for me.  The cost doesn't hurt, either.

So, basically, if this device ever does get ported to VZW / CDMA, there will be much rejoicing in Mudville?

I'd love for this phone to be compatible with vzw. I wouldn't want to give up unlimited data plan I stil have. Also, vzw or Us cellular are the only carriers that have decent coverage where I am. GSM carriers have spotty service in general, and no service at my house. Specs like this is what all flagship phones in 2014 should include. Just my own opinion.

Pretty much in the same boat, although AT&T does also get decent coverage where I live.  but definitely not where I work.

I'd give it a shot.  There really are some nice phones that tend to be exclusive in Europe and Asia that are real killers.
