I have the stock recovery image for the VZW M8 hosted HERE
As for taking OTA's, don't ever take one until you see what others have experienced. The last ota did not remove s-off, but that is not guaranteed going forward. As long as you keep s-off, root can be re-achieved through custom recovery.

Thanks for this. I was just getting ready to run to XDA to DL the stock image they have hidden in one of the the threads there. You just made it a lot easier.

Thanks, got it. One last question, is this Verizon's latest one, 4.2.2?
Edit: I'm to use to my Bionic, I have to remind myself that I can flash everything with S-Off and don't have to worry about another versions security being different. Glad to have a stock fail safe!

You should see my new stuff. The moto guys and gals are mostly happy with it. Still supports Bionic, too. I'd do HTC stuff but I just don't have one and have never worked with your RUU files so I don't know much about it. I've done ODIN stuff for my S4 GPE, though.

Now that is just hurtful, Sam. This is only the second phone I've broken the screen on in FIVE years. You know the jobs I do aren't exactly safe for phones. I still stand by my adult statement.
