     In a press release today, LG confirmed that the name of it's next flagship smartphone will be the G3, as was widely expected.  Additionally, the company has stated that the device is slated for a "late May" release, even earlier than the rumored June-July release that has been previously reported.  No design features or specs were spoken of, but the device has been rumored to be packing a QHD display, along with some other high end features such as 3GB of memory and a Snapdragon 801 processor.
